Martyd3 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 I realize you can't tell much from a single pic, but visually speaking, does it look ok?
alligoat Posted June 23, 2009 Report Posted June 23, 2009 I can't say clean, but it is a 1570. No rust, etc. but really would take a watchmaker to examine it- something you can't do w/ a pic.
Logan Posted June 24, 2009 Report Posted June 24, 2009 The lack or scrapes from the rotor hitting the main plate is a good sign, it means the rotor pin has never been worn to a great degree. This in theory suggests a movement with some service history. But you'll need a professional to give any opinion beyond that. Good luck with whatever franken build this ends up in.
