They should be shipping to me any day now... I will be contacting the lens shop this week.

Are you going to post a call with member's name and number of pre-ordered cyclopses as on the AR coating project? As far as I remember I am still in for two 7mm lenses.

The cyclopes are shipping from the lens manufacturer to me today. I will want to perform some sort of crude inspection before offering these up for sale, but in short order I will start contacting the folks that have committed to purchase. I will offer paypal as a payment option (however due to not having a premier paypal account there will be a 5.9% fee to be covered by the buyer) as well as postal and bank money orders.

Here are the nitty gritty details copied from post 1 in the thread:

Updates:

13 Feb 2007: The magnifiers are done and shipping out to me today.

Final specs:

Diameter: 6.9mm 6.75mm

Total Thickness: ~1.19mm 1.22mm (should (still) work on 95%+ of watches)

Magnification: 1.55X to 1.7X depending on rehaut (distance from date window)

Material: Sapphire

AR Coating: None.

RWG Pricing:

$25 USD each up to 2 pieces

$20 USD each for 3 or more pieces

+ a couple bucks for shipping and packaging per order

This found for a pam 050 of 40 mm? :/ If this not found u will have for a 40 mm panerais?

The 40mm PAMs have 6mm cyclopses, but the rehaut is so high, the rep mag is better than most of the 44mm.

Brian, I'm in for one and more if these work w/ the "sandwhich" crystals.

I've got no clue how to go about extracting the existing cyclops from a sandwich crystal since it is recessed into the sandwich. That doesn't mean it can't be done, though. :)

It can be done, Lello already did it.

Congrats and thanks for this great project, Brian, can't wait to see the bits! ;)

Ah. I missed Lello's thread.

I too, if Lello posted a thread about it. ;)

I was just speaking on a private note that Lello sent me some time ago.

Hi chieftang, just to let you know that the cyclopses arrived safe and sound into my hands.

At a first glance they are awesome. Thanks again for putting this together!

More feedback to follow.

(FIY, I tried to send you this via PM, but got this error:)
