rckh Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Dear Buddies: I got this baby on March already; little bit lazy for a while to take photos.....Today; my lovely wife went to her homeland visiting her parents. Too boring I push myself to take up the DC & make few shots on this beauty. Hope you enjoy that! Best Regards, Raymond
Feta1 Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Beautiful... I just wish we could do something about that etched crown... when I went to the AD you can't see then with the naked eye... on our reps you can see them from three feet away

rckh Posted May 14, 2008 Author Report Posted May 14, 2008 that bezel is FAT. much fatter than mine... i have bezel envy..... Oh! My Super Sea-Dweller is 2nd version, That's why in came with better bezel & improved crystal height! But I saw one member going to sell the 2nd version bezel somewhere....Good Luck! Best Regards, Raymond
chrgod Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 Nice watch! I am wearing my SSD ( Mark I ) as I type. Solid, heavy and well-built timepiece, I have no trouble living with the lack of "frontal rehaut" depth. Wear it well!
Guest carlsbadrolex Posted May 14, 2008 Report Posted May 14, 2008 First, congratulations. That is the best date font alignment I have seen on one of the SSD's. Ive had several, and the alignment has been an issue on all of them which required dis-assembly to repair. Secondly, does it appear that the HEV is not in all the way? It seems that it extends past the case side rather far. If in fact it does, you should be able to tighten it from the inside. Great watch!

SubFrog Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 Wow...that's a beauty. I love that super SD. And your pictures are well done. I want another one now.
blue_sphere Posted July 2, 2008 Report Posted July 2, 2008 (edited) Case is too big for me at 44m its a beast! Isnt "gas escape valve" supposed to be inside the watch around the dial in stainless too? (see rolex's site) Edited July 2, 2008 by blue_sphere

Oyster Posted December 12, 2008 Report Posted December 12, 2008 Just wondering if the (ROLSD004 - SUPER Sea-Dweller 1:1 edition - Swiss ETA) takes genuine parts? Cheers
