Need help deciding about GEN MB Fifty Fathoms

I am hoping that someone can help me out. I am trying to decide whether of not to get the BP FF Trilogy. What would be a good price for this watch? The watch is brand new but with no papers. (Tourneau sample sale). They are asking $5,400 out the door. (1/2 off list of $10,000). I'm a much bigger fan of the newer version with the saphire bezel, but this one is nice as well.

Is this a good deal? I have ssen them on TZ used w/ papers for $3,200. Any opinions?

Best advice: don't waste money on a watch that is "almost" the right piece. You'll never be satisfied with it and will wind up spending more in the long run.

Save for the sapphire bezel model.

I am greedy so i would take it.....but if it is an "almost"...i don't think so, it will always be an " almost" feeling I think

I agree with everyone else on this one. Never settle, because you'll always know in the back of your mind that you settled and that will continue to nag at you until you get the "exact" grail.
