Hello, everyone This time I bring you a comparison of rose gold DD 228235. The factories being compared are THB, KF, JDF and ARF. We did a comparison of yellow gold DD In March. Some of the comparison content is the same since the factories involved in the comparison are the same as those. If you haven't seen this comparison, you can click the link to view it: Daydate 228238 Photographed by phone under lighting The Gen green dial is extremely difficult to replicate, as each dial has a slightly different shade of green. In comparison, the green color of JDF here is closer to the original. The rose gold color also varies significantly across different factories. KF and JDF are closer to the original rose gold, while THB and ARF's versions lean more toward a yellow gold appearance,THB being the most noticeable in this regard. Indoor natural light The color difference of the dial becomes less obvious when the light is not sufficient. The rose gold of THB and ARF will still be more yellow gold in color. Photographed by phone in the sun The dial color is still different for each one, and the green color of THB here is closer to the original. Still has the same problem for the rose gold color. Bezel view Regarding the bezel, THB's groove length and shape are closer to the original. As for JDF, there were rust spots on the bezel in this case, but it appears to be an isolated issue,previous QC checks did not reveal the same problem. The gap between the THB and KF bezels and the steel belt is the smallest. Crystal view The crystal height is basically the same as the original one, and the transparency is very good. Day window font view The color of the original calendar frame is different from the green color of the dial, and it looks like a separate component embedded in the frame. The Day window frames of the four replica factories are simply cut directly into the dial surface, and the frame color is the same as the dial color. In terms of the week font, THB and ARF are closer to the Gen. The font position of ARF is lower. Rolex coronet view ARF is more closer to gen. Markers view The gen markers have sharp, clean edges with distinct angles. Both THB and JDF's markers show slight beveling, while KF's markers are relatively more closer to the original. All three factories THB, KF, and JDF ,exhibit varying degrees of oxidation on their markers. At the 6 o'clock position (as indicated by the arrow), the original watch's markers remain perfectly aligned, whereas the replicas from other factories all have issues with level alignment or noticeable tilting. Dial font painting The printing style of the dial text and the thickness of the gold paint on ARF are closer to the Gen. The color of the gold paint shifts under different lighting angles, but overall, ARF remains the most faithful to the gen. The central axis and hands The genuine center pinion has soldering marks, and KF is the closest to the Gen in this regard. All four factories produce hands with good craftsmanship—no noticeable burrs or rough edges. Rehaut view The Gen inner bezel shows almost no horizontal brushing pattern. THB's inner bezel - in terms of both engraving and reflective quality - comes closest to the Gen. Crown view With the crown in the winding position, Gen has a slightly longer crown stem , KF crown tube is shorter. THB Rolex logo on the crown is the most three-dimensional and closest in shape to the original. Lugs view The shape of THB lug is the closest to gen. Endlink view THB and AR have the same lubrication access holes as gen. The authentic end links use a three-segment design, while JDF and KF are one-piece. THB and AR are closer to the Gen. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following part is basically unchanged from the gold DD in March, so I will not introduce it in detail. Side and back side view Bracelet view The total length of the Gen steel band is 25 sections. AR is 29 sections. KF is 25 sections. THB is 31 sections. JDF is 28 sections. I checked their site. The quality of their items looks great but I didn't see any dials anywhere near the 600m Diver I was looking for or cases but I like the quality of the items they sell so thank you and this may be useful in the future.

Now that the 70's Professional Seiko diver Grand daddy tunas are like 3,000 dollars, is there someone making replica dials? I actually don't mind if it's sterile but love these large huge round markers. Can I find these somewhere? I also like the vintage Dodane diver dials but doubt anyone replicates those.

Hi Charles, I have never had a problem with them in hot weather. Most of their watches come waterproof up to 30meters from the factory. I swim with all of mine constantly. However, it's still a replica, so be prepared for anything. Keep in mind, most watch service places will work on them for you, and they won't know the difference, so long as you buy a 1:1 replica. Guys...here I am to briefly present my latest build. It is a Grand Seiko diver homage. Unfortunately I was unable to find a satisfactory dial. With this (third dial) I completed everything, even if I should find a suitable crown like that of a genuine one. I am not displeased with the final result, but I am still hoping for some improvements. I also have the bracelet that I plan to mount later. Here are the photos.

Will their watches also work in hot weather too? Because I have seen some watches stop working in hot weather and under water. I am asking this all because I am planning for buggy tour in Dubai and weather will be very hot over there. Do lemme know if you have any knowledge.

Greetings to everyone, Prior to my lengthy absence from radiotherapy treatments, I have been been looking for a speedmaster moonwatch dial for the seagull ST19, but have hit a dead end as none of the known dealers that sell replica dials have them listed . I purchased the watch as a gift for a family member from silix-prime who are no longer around. There are plenty for the automatic 7750 but hardly any for the manual version. The best I have found are sterile ones on eBay , I was even going to search for old model plane decals to conjure up the inscriptions myself, but that didn’t work either,! Raffles have a great selection but none for the speedmaster. I am now a the end of the road. Has anyone any clues or information where I can source one or anyone have an unwanted one for sale , please sing out.? Thanks in advance for any input. Best wishes to all!

Well all those link from ali are not available in the USA anymore. I may have to buy as crew down tube and re tap the case. the one on ebay also not available here

HI. If you have to sacrifice the existing tube, you must take a pair of pliers with pointed noses and remove it without twisting to avoid it breaking. I repeat, the tube should be the one with a snap-fit (without thread). Otherwise (i.e. with a screwed tube) you must unscrew it counterclockwise. Having said that, I still recommend that you first purchase the tube + crown kit and test its compatibility with the existing tube without disassembling it. If it is not compatible, you can proceed with disassembly.
