Hey RWG, Back again after going away for 2 years and i'm back to stay.. Major upheavals in the family but finally things have settled and life returns to normal. Whilst away, i managed to overhaul my previous collection retaining only my WM9 Sub and Sinn U2 PVD... also picked up an AP diver 3.5, Porsche flat 6, Breitling Skyland Grey dial, 2 Ebel 1911s Pandas, 1 Pam 243M Vac lumed and a few others yet to arrive. Hey everyone, I have been getting questions about beat rates for the various models of the Tudor Submariner. There was also a debate regarding the beat rate found in the Tudor 9401 Sub. I thought it was 28800, others say it is 21600. Well, I just received a Tudor Sub 9401 snowflake and can confirm what others were saying. It appears to be 21600 bph. So, with that: 7928: Movement- F390 - bph 18000 7016: Movement- ETA 2483 - bph 18000 7021: Movement- ETA 2484 - bph 18000 9401: Movement- ETA 2776 - bph 21600 9411: Movement- ETA 2784 - bph 28800 76100: Movement- ETA 2824 - bph 28800 79090: Movement- ETA 2824 - bph 28800 Happy building.

Sorry for the watch, I have no address where to find the crystal. But for the rooster, I can suggest better than a basic soup. Here in France, we have the classical "coq au vin" (= rooster in wine). You cut the rooster in pieces, and you put it in a big bowl with red wine (a strong one, from south of France, not like Burgundy) with carots and onions cut in small parts. Put enough wine to cover the meat and vegetables (one botle should be ok if the rooster is not too big). You add pepper and herbs, but no salt. You leave it like this during 24h00. After 24h00, take the pieces of rooster and dry it with paper. Put it in a casserole with some oil or butter and small parts of bacon. Make it roasted during few minutes. Pour on it one spoon of flour, and mix. Wait one or two minutes more, and pour the wine with vegetables. Add salt. Cover the casserole, and lett it cook gently during two or three hours. Then, it's ready ! Enjoy it with mashed potatoes (home made, of course !). I recommend to dring a Chateauneuf du Pape with it (powerful red wine from southern France). For sure, this will not repair the watch. But for sure, after your lunch you will think that life is beautiful and the watch can be repaired. One last detail : if you propose to your neighbour to share this lunch with you (tell him it's a pheasant), you will enjoy it much more ! Paul

A month makes quite a difference this time of year. The Christmas shipping rush is at it's peak right now. Customs is probably innundated with packages moving through. Honestly, I wouldn't order anything from overseas during the month of December. the volume of packages goes up tremendously. I seriously doubt that US Customs hires temp workers to help get through the seasonal rush, the packages just back up and after the volume goes down,they clear the backlog. Give it a few more days. It might not be home for Christmas, but surely by New years Night!!

Let me tell you, I have spent my life making professional presentations and from day one every mentor I have ever had stressed three things… One... buy the most expensive suit you can afford. It is much better to own one $600 dollar suit than six $100 suits if you are trying sell anything, and in business we are all trying to sell something. Two… shine your shoes. And three, wear NO jewelry except a wedding band (if you are married) , a college ring (especially if from post graduate level or a fraternity) and wear a GOOD watch! Does it work? I can tell you from experience that it works wonders! I would never go on a sales call today without a Rolex Replica (or I occasionally wear my Omega Seamaster Replica) on my wrist. WHY? That answer is simple. Clients think, if he makes enough commission to be wearing a Rolex he must make a lot of sales, which means he must have a good product. Don’t believe me? Go sit in your Doctors waiting room and wait for the Pharmaceutical Reps to show up. Trust me, once you get past that sort of shy period, there is nothing to give you more confidence in presenting yourself than to be well dressed and sporting a sharp watch. 10 years ago I worked for $4.15/hr on the counter of retail store. I myself am short, fat and not exactly handsome… but I have a good tailor and a good Replica dealer.
