  4. Given the most recent chain of events, a questionable few need to be reminded this world of ours is way smaller than you think. There are technologies involved far beyond most comprehension that can quickly & accurately deter, motivate or demonstrate a point that needs to be proven. You will not get away with scamming anyone as long as I am a member of this community.

  5. Gentlemen, we have a Feedback area where specific transactions can be rated with specific members. In the past we also had a Members Trade Review area, where discussions were held regarding shady transactions. We also pointed out where scams occurred. The Members Trade Review area was locked when the Boss turned on the Feedback feature. We're now discussing turning it back on. In the meantime, we don't need vigilantism here, or pitchforks at midnight. If you've been scammed, then yes... bring it to light. BUT BEWARE what can happen when the topic gains legs of its own. This thread is a perfect example. We don't need to post pictures, email addresses, etc. for someone before he's even been proved a scammer. The OP in this thread said it himself, "how will I feel when the watch arrives Monday?" Meanwhile, people were pouring boiling oil on The Perp. Tone it down, people. Let's keep this place friendly, and lets watch each others' backs. That approach has worked fine for many years.

  10. This guy is pretty cagy too. Notice his disclaimer I'm not professional watch dealer, but just only an enthusiast watch collector, so I sell the items "as is", I refund only if the items are different from the pictures, please feel free to ask me any questions or more pics. Generally when you buy something that is sold as "original" that would mean it's genuine, and it is returnable if it proves not to be the real thing. There are so many scammers and con artists on eBay, I would not be inclined to buy any Rolex stuff unless I really trusted the seller. This one isn't one of them!!!

  11. Thanks Kneedragger for confronthing this ebayer and sharing wtih the community. As of today 7/15/2013 the item is no longer listed on ebay! We just saved some ebayer from a major scam. Usually the unsuspecting ebay newbee are the victims. I'm glad we caugh this one! Robert

  12. My conversation this far. Dear 32dollface1981, That Rolex you're selling is a dreadful fake. Take it down or I am reporting you to Ebay. Pander your counterfeit goods elsewhere. - Kneedragger Dear Kneedragger, Im not sellin it as ginuine. Thats why there r no papers with it. Everyone who bid on it asked me if its real and I said them no. They know its not real so Im doin nothing wrong. - 32dollface1981 Dear 32dollface1981, Actually you are. Selling counterfeit goods is against eBay's terms of use. Not once in your ad do you mention that it isn't genuine. Its shamelessly misleading. And it's also morally reprehensible that you would sell a fake that can be bought from a street vendor for 20 dollars, for over $500. - Kneedragger

  14. That looks like an ETA to me, the Sellita is marked at "SW200" there is no 2824 or whatever. DM is correct for an ETA, it stands for "Date" "Manufacture". There should be the ETA logo stamped under the balance to the right of the DM. RG
