  5. It's called a bridge movement. First saw these a few years ago. From wiki: "Bridge movement In modern watch movements, the back plate is replaced with a series of plates or bars, called bridges. This makes servicing the movement easier, since individual bridges and the wheels they support can be removed and installed without disturbing the rest of the movement. The first bridge movements, in Swiss pocketwatches from around 1900, had three parallel bar bridges to support the three wheels of the going train. This style is called a three finger or Geneva movement."

  6. They might be a mil long, but I love seeing the tips of the spring bars! I can hardly ever find spring bars long enough. Denim, your build came out great and I love the little scars on the case and bracelet. Reminds me of the watch the pic of that actor wearing ..

  9. Just wanted to share a photos I snapped while in Hawaii with the banana seawolf. Wore the watch while swimming in the pool, ocean, and some snorkeling, out of the box waterproof. (I wanted to take a picture with it underwater, but I never got around to it)

  10. The long pin might be a problem. Definitely no way you could shorten it in situ, but if it went in, it will come back out Remove it, shorten it and polish the ends? As you say it's a prototype so you've got to expect a little tinkering. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 2
