The problem Nanuq has mentioned has arisen a few times now that I can think of. As there are a number of user "levels", it should be trivial to add another user level, "suspended", that allows the user to post in one forum, a Suspended Members forum, only, and they can also respond to PMs, but not initiate any new PM conversations. Plus the user is not allowed to edit their profile in any way, or delete it. Admin or a mod can then change the users sig to say they have bed suspended and to see 'this' post for more information. Stops them posting more sale or wanted posts, stops them doing any underhand sales, stops them starting PM convos to sell stuff but allows them to respond to any PM convos in question and to respond to the thread(s) in 'Suspended' forum about them.3 points

So I picked up one of these to see how I like yellow! This distinctive timepiece from Jorg Gray features a precise Japanese movement, making it ideal for special occasions and everyday wear. This men's watch is finished with an Italian leather strap and a screw-down crown. Click here to view our Watch Sizing Guide. All measurements are approximate and may vary slightly from the listed dimensions. Men's watch bands can be sized to fit 7.5-inch to 8.5-inch wrists. A screw-down crown (knob) creates a water-resistant seal. To unscrew the crown, turn counter-clockwise and pull/push into position to set time, date, and other functions. To close the crown, press it against the case and turn clockwise. Features Calendar: Date displayed between 4 and 5 o'clock Case: Solid stainless steel matte silver finish Caseback: Stainless steel screw-down Dial: Black Hands: Stainless steel, luminescent Markers: Gloss yellow Strap: Italian crocodile leath Subdials: Three By the way: Water Resistant 10 ATM / 100 meters / 330 feet1 point

UPDATED VERSION : NOW WITH INSTALLER AND WILL WORK ON WINDOWS XP, Vista, 7 and 8, 32 or 64 bit. Hi guys, I have developed a little tool that allows you to find out all the information (that I have been able to gather) for any TD that is on any of the 4 rep forums, RWG, RWG.bz, RG and RWI. (it includes options for WUS and TZ-UK but I haven't entered anything for them) It allows you to select which forum you want to see the trusted dealers for, and also allows you to narrow the choice down to watch sellers, strap sellers, part sellers, other items sellers, and repair / maintenance people. The Watch and Strap sections are complete, but the other sections I'm sure there are a lot more TDs / members out there that provide these services - if you are one such person, please PM me to be included. If anyone wants to redistribute this on any of the other REP forums, feel free to do so. DO NOT TRY TO DISTRIBUTE IT ON ANY GEN FORUMS!!! IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU BUY FROM A DEALER WHO IS NOT A TD ON THE FORUMS YOU ARE A MEMBER OF, YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN IF ANY PROBLEMS HAPPEN! Please read my next post, it explains this in more detail. How To Use This is what the main page looks like:- It is as simple as it looks! If you want to narrow your search, use the check boxes to select what you want. Click "View". A new window will appear with all the data found. Any links into the forums are clickable. Any links to dealer websites that have been verified are clickable. Any links to dealer websites that have NOT been verified are NOT clickable. If you want to use these, first go to that dealers forum page and double check the website address is correct and then cut and paste the website link into a browsers address bar. (And if the link provided is correct, if you want to you could send me a PM letting me know so I can change it to Verified status!) You can download an installer for the program from here:- http://rapidshare.com/share/B6C0BC178FF1E15B8612D7EF0BC0E91C It requires .NET 3.5 SP1 to run. This is part of Windows 7, so if you are using Windows 7 or Windows 8 it is already there. For those Windows XP or Vista users, when you run the installer, if it detects that .NET 3.5 SP1 is not on your PC it will ask if you want to download and install it, if you say yes it will go away and do that for you, and then continue with the installation. The actual program itself is tiny but I've had to wrap it in an installer to guarantee it will install correctly on anyones Windows PC. Any problems, please PM me. Richard Mods : If this contravenes any rules please whip the rapidshare link out / delete the post and PM me with a slapped wrist, and if so, I apologies in advance!1 point

I agree with Legend on this. I for one do not believe in spending big $$ on a car. I drive from A (house) to B (Office) 5 days a week. On the weekend, my car is used to ferry my kids from various A and various B. To me a car should be functional and reliable and therefore does not have to be expensive. I am not into expensive aesthetically pleasing cars. A car is just a car! I drive a honda CRV and have for 7 years and I think it is the best reliable car I have ever driven. Now when it comes to watchs, this is where I enjoy myself. The aesthetics come into play and I am happy to spend all my money on reps and gens. Letting me enjoy looking at it strapped around my wrist. Now that is more appealing to me. So in a nutshell I dont believe in the expensive car expensive watch ratio. I don't think they are linked at all.1 point

I for one completely disagree with the whole "if you don't own a fancy, expensive car, then you can't own a luxury watch' shenanigans that is apparently a belief with a lot of us here, and on other Gen watch forums. What anyone decides to spend their money on should not have to anything to do with following the socially acceptable ladder of luxury items if they do not want to do so. I know that a lot of people wish to show off their wealth and brag to others about how well they are doing by buying the largest, flashiest houses and vehicles, but not all of us feel that way. I for one do not feel the need to drive the large, V8 engine luxury sedan or V10 SUV when I have the option for a nice, economic and reliable Toyota, or Honda, etc. I don't need the 5 bedroom house when I only have one kid and maybe another on the way in a few years, as it does not make sense to throw extra time and money away on cleaning and furnishings when no one is going to really use those extra rooms. How often does one really have house guests? One spare bedroom is more than enough. Up until the last few years, my cousin who makes a 7 figure salary (and has been for a while now) had lived this way. In fact, it wasn't until his wife's trusty Volvo decided to die that she decided she wanted one of the M-Benz SUVs for herself. No one would have guessed looking at what he drove that he had an entire room dedicated to vintage guitars, worth upwards of 3 million dollars, and he wouldn't have had it any other way. I think he was onto something there, because it is my belief that it is really no one's business how much we are worth, as long as we continue to contribute to society. I guess what I am trying to say is, for watch lovers such as ourselves, does it really make sense to blow that extra money on the big house, or the $80,000 Audi, Benz, etc when we could instead drive a comfortable car half that price and buy another one or 2 gen AP's? I for one think not.1 point

I dont believe theres a car to watch ratio. Like watches, cars are hobbies. I have friends who have a dozen of richard milles, and yes they are gen, and still drives a toyota for his daily car. Although he does have a merc. Its just preference how people spend their money. The way id see it is that a watch doesnt depreciate as much as a lux car. Unless you're the kind of person that attempts to fool everyone that the rep is a gen, i dont think there is relevance in a watch to car ratio. But having reps as well as gens do create a good variety in our collection1 point

The AP Diver V5 in SS weighs in at 179 gr. It´s a solid, good watch and I will keep it for sure. Will also wait for the SS bracelet for it to be available again and get one. Goes for 1/3 less on the gen market than the flashier FC Diver. Maybe the FC is too light for some and the yellow over time gets too flashy. Definitely I like mine in SS and You will be happy to get an AP Diver because it is just so good - only have to decide if on this watch the carbon look is the right one and if the yellow isn´t too screaming much in several occasions. Just look at this:)1 point

I didn't think I'll see this till after Thanksgiving......Sead sent me the tracking yesterday......and then I saw the mail Lady coming with a package on her hand.....and I thought no way???? I signed for it....she handed it to me.....and my heart sunk......really low! Down low! I thought like...."what the phuck???" No way....was someone playing a joke on me? Not April fools yet? Did it got stolen? The package was so light......6oz maybe....I ripped the cover with blade so fast, I was afraid I was gonna cut myself! But there it was, triple bubble wrapped.....inside two plastic sleeves. Fresh out of the factory, you could still smell the $hit from the assemblers fingers...... So off I go and give it a good toothbrushing.....and here's the beauty......this BTW is a pictorial review koz I'm gonna shut up now and let the pictures do the talking: and the mandatory Wristie: I'm blown.....this is so close! I've perused the live one @a boutique @the magnificent mile in downtown Chicago.....and the weight, case, dial, you name it......sooooooo goddamnnnnn close! The crowns are buttery smooth. Opens and closes with no effort. Time and bezel adjustments are smooth. First watch I got OTB that I was 101% satisfied! For those who wants it, get in touch with Sead.......he's got it....and he's a no nonsense TD! THANKS a lot SEAD for a flawless transaction and a SUPER FAST Delivery! 3 days is crazy fast in my book! Hope the pictures will make your decision......if you could nit pick, go right ahead, we would like to know what you'll find! Thanks for looking!1 point
