  2. I forgot ordering these babies until I got an import duty notification from DHL. From a sponsored site/ banner on here, pretty cool for the money and they are working well, although I'd need to be very drunk to wear them to the pub! I'll let the pics do the talking (mine is 7.5" by the way )

  8. As said in a post some time ago, I have a friend from teenage period (we both were in the same scout group) that worked 10/15 years or so as watchsmith in "THE" Rolex AD here in a near 50000 inhabitant city. From some months he opened his own jewelry shop (independent watchsmith too) and it happened that I met him after some years just one month ago. So I asked him if he could service my reps (for around 95$ each) and he was telling me "If you want, but just because you're a friend.. I can give them a look... They are such bad that they fall apart even unassembly them... I've seen some of them from other friends... Such sh_t..." etc So today I went there with my BP Pam 164: He saluted me and ironically told me "So have you brought here your crap?". And I was smiling within my self. Then he proposed me to open it (it's a closed case back) to see inside, asking me firstly if I've already gave it a look inside, and when I said "no" he smiled and replied "Ahahah, so you still don't know what mess there is inside, eh?". Again I was smiling within my self. So he went in the back shop to open it and staid there some 5 minutes, during which I heard a "Jesus!" from that side. Now my smile was quite open He came back and told me "YOu know? This movement is indeed a good one!!! How much you told me you paid for it?". At that point I was laughing openly (no other customers in the shop) Then, as final axe in my cuff, I said "You know? It's also real sapphire glass that one...". Point - Set - Match! He'll service it no problem, and will do also for my incoming ones He still don't get why I spend my money in fake watches considering that 5/6 of them + service and I could take an used gen that may keep value with time, but ok, we all know why we're going for these, isn't it?

  12. Phase II- Build. I have a custom made vintage black strap with tan stitching being made for this bad girl. When the strap comes in, I'll give her a proper burlesque photo shoot

  13. Wow! Sounds like a great opportunity. Why would I buy from a trusted dealer with whom there is at least marginal accountability and well established track record spanning thousands of transactions when Jack will deal with me directly? I hope I can mail cash for additional discounts! <end sarcasm> I should probably add for the benefit of any new members that this is what spam looks like on a Rep forum...

  14. Agreed. Voteban +1. It's pretty clear he's an advertiser/scammer if you check his post history.

  16. Yes I use to drive it a lot. But it was like 3 hours of riding followed by 3 hours of cleaning. Nothing wrong with keeping your ride clean. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  17. "Jewels in Time" in Boca Raton, FL services Rolexes starting at $159. They've been advertising that price for years here in Palm Beach County and are quite legitimate. You can check their web site for information.

  20. Right!! A full service right off the bat would turn a maybe pretty good deal into a "so-so" deal. You finally get that gen you have been craving for years, and before you get to really enjoy it, it's gone for 3 months and you are out a bunch of bucks! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  23. I have one of these at home. His name is Brutus. The wrinkles on the face allow for the flow of blood to be away from the eyes in battle. These dogs were impressive battle animals. Imagine the average man being 5'5" at the time and maybe 135lbs. These mastiffs can go to an average of 165-170. Of course every breed is different and you can control the wrinkles and the volume of wrinkles with breeding. Take a look at this picture and see the same dog from a couple of millennia ago.
