I was regretting ordering the 6+ earlier this week due to its size..But i realized that the increased real estate renders the iPad mini obsolete. Likewise with the iPad to a lesser extend. While I hovered over the "cancel order" button, I had a change of heart and now patiently waiting delivery. The optical stability camera and pixel density were also a deciding factors over the 6.

Btw, higginsd has given you fully correct info on eta/oem IWC. Before you later start thinking about putting funds into movement upgrade, be aware that opinions on the quality of the a7750 vary. On some movements such as the 7750 the date wheel is engaged for an extended period of time during the date changeover. This period can start well before 12:00 and end well after 12:00. It does not have an instant clickover like the other ETA calibres. If you change the date manually while the date wheel is engaged with the movement, you may cause damage. Just to be safe, it's a general rule not to try and change the date of any watch during the midnight hours. On a 7750 you "won't be able to" and forcibly doing so will break the date change gear. The hour wheel goes around 24 hours and drives another gear with a single pin or protruding tooth. In other words this tooth will engage a gear once every 24 hours. What happens at midnight, the tooth engages a gear on the day wheel and depending on the movement design another gear with a similar tooth engages the date wheel. With the 2824 and the 2892 (and most other quicksets) the single tooth that advances the date wheel is sprung so the it will retract when the date wheel is forced over it. It will generally hang up requiring the time to be advanced 24 hours to clear the fault. The fixed tooth date advance movements like the 7750 are the ones where especially important not to set date "between 8 and 4"

Yes, I get it. So if you get a dirty and maybe broken a7750 for 30 usd, why not provide a clean one for 60 usd? Make that a total of 330 usd then. You said it would increase the price dramatically and I say it would not. The point is, as you have mentioned already, that probably 95% of the rep buyers don't care. They could easily provide better quality checks and cleaner assemblies even without having to increase the price, but then then everyone would profit a couple of dollars less.. You are buying a 300 usd rep and then have to pay another 200 usd or more on a 30 usd movement for a service unless you can do it yourself. What's the point? You are proving that in theory the A7750 is capable of being a good movement. In reality it is not, imo. I didn't say you can get an ETA 7750 watch for 300 usd. I said that 300 usd in China is equivalent to probably 900 usd or more in a western country. And for 900 usd you can get a watch with a clean ETA 7750. Why can't I get a clean A7750 watch for 300 usd in China then?

nothing but the gen one. asia 7750 material = bad swiss 7750 material = excellent asia 7750 adjustment accuracy = bad swiss 7750 adjustment accuracy = excellent asia 7750 accuracy = not better than 8-10 seconds plus per day , swiss 7750 accuracy = with a high-end time-level-machine and maybe 2-3 days to check, better than 3 seconds plus per day. in my auto pams i have always a swiss 7750, and it is a real joy to see the accuracy. rolli

Thanks again. The Asian 21J should remove easier, as it's secured differently (see below). To my knowledge the only difference would be the crown-stem release; if memory serves, it has to be depressed upon both removal and insertion.
