I'm not sure where this came from or anything about it but I found it on Ebay and recieved it today. It was listed as an Art Deco era rolex sign that was in a shop but the fittings and hardware on the back look extremely well made and modern. This pic was on Ebay with it to show it in its orig home but I really think it was photoshopped.. What say you?? It's etched mirrored glass. I don't care if it's old or not I like it either way.

So you come onto a forum where the main subject matter is replica watches, where we discuss them, anything else, exchange ideas, experiences, hobbies about watches and everything else, all in all a community. And say "the ideas of replicas suck, I don't care about any of you, I don't want to know any of you, I don't care what any of you think". You may be a great person to know (you may be a troll but I give everyone the benefit of the doubt), but you have filled your head up with preconceptions of who you think a typical "rep owner / rep wearer" is, and you couldn't be further from the truth. Wipe away all those preconceptions and just say "Hi" with an open mind. You'll get a pleasant response.

Put this little thing together last year and absolutely love it - has been my daily beater for the last 9 months! The genuine dial really adds some character to it and has been keeping very good time!

No it's right, I shouldn't have used that set, but I was showing that in the focus zones they are almost the same, I couldn't find 2 shots that matched exactly.. This one shows better, the olloclip loses focus at the edges, so the rotor mount and rotor edges are more clearly in focus with the loupe system. I agree that it wins, it really just comes down to weather or not it's worth the extra 400$ over an olloclip It's like the olloclip is set at an aperture of 2.8 and the loupe system is set at 11+ but without the loss of light. When I shoot at f11 on my real camera I am giving up light, that's not the case here, the light is very good.

Honestly, I have to agree - to some degree, in the fight for trying to get something right on you can wind up with headache and heartache unless you engage those that are masters in the craft... I think probably the best vintage sub-homage I've seen, feel free to disagree, is the Steinhart Ocean One Vintage I will be buying one of these!
