  2. It's a lot better executed then the project x version. It makes the project x version look half done. I'm really digging it

  4. Personally I like this much better than the HS1. This is a true work of art. Gilt dial and hands with a dome crystal and coin edge bezel To top it off, look at those bevels and lug holes. Much better fusion of modern/vintage with these details from the original big crown. I think this is beautifully executed. Sent from my droptop using telepathy [emoji466]️

  7. ^ Exactly. If you can't cool your jets for a week or two and be patient while someone processes through their grieving, you have bigger issues than who is going to fix your faux-lex.

  8. For those of you that know me, you know I'm not a huge fan of the current version of the TC cases. But with a little work, they are acceptable for an early 16610 or 16800 build. But the challenge is getting the lugholes drilled properly. I've seen some very bad efforts at lughole drilling in a non-lughole case and as such, (next to bevels) is one of the tougher mods to do right. Here's an example of a case I recently worked on for an early 16610 build. Right after drilling: Even at high speed, burrs will inevitably build up around the hole. After a light grinding and repolishing. Along with modest bevel action: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. Here are my 5513 (and related) subs. None of them are perfect, but I like them as they are 1) Comex 5514 (HH case, gen crown, gen service t19, whoopy dial, TC hands, dial relume by cwazy) 2) 9401 (Richie case, WSO insert aged by me, clark t19, HR dial, Raffles hands, dial relume by daz. In the market for a darker dial.) 3) 5517 (HR case/dial/hands/crown, clark t19, watchman bezel, Phong insert, dial relume by Daz) 4) 5513 Gilt (Cartel Base, whoopy dial, gen crown, gen service t19, TC hands, case rework by Akira. In the market for a better case with PCG) 5) 5513 Protoype Piano dial (HR case/crown, GS crystal, WSO bezel assembly, Yuki insert, TC hands, Whoopy prototype dial. New pearl on the way)

  10. I do like this one. If I were able to buy one, this one would be it., but in actuality, I'm very happy with this one, which is about 8% of the cost if this one is 10K, it's a limited addition of 300 and serves my purposes quite well.

  14. Mickey, that sounds fine. Anyone who doesn't understand the situation or is upset because you can't fix their watch for the next week or two is not deserving of your service and should be put on your "Do not waste my time because hell will freeze over before I repair one of your watches" list. I can guarantee you won't lose any of the customers of the kind that you really want! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. 2015 S5 has arrived and I took delivery Sunday. Great driving car. I am now looking at a pulley, chip and air box system to increase HP 100+. Decent power stock but another 100 and she would really go. Love the new technology and for my money hard to beat the fit and finish of an Audi, at least in my price range. Super happy since I special ordered this and picked all the options. Exhaust sound is great in dynamic mode, has the nice F1 style sound. Put in comfort mode and super smooth and quiet.

  19. Nah, he would be purgering nothing. He posts here under a surname and no good lawyer would ever let that get connected in court. Not that there is going to be a court case. Scare tactics - and they know it - both customs and Rolex, believe me. They have to catch you with the watch and taking possesion of the package to make a case. Those letters are toilet paper - both from Rolex and Customs. Don't respond at all. And to the OP and anyone else here - I'm sure I don't have to tell you or anyone else here to NEVER, and I mean never sign for a person to person Registered letter from anyone. Not even your Mother or even God! Those things are poison. And as a rule I won't sign for Certified's either unless I know who it is from. Nothing good can from signing anything that nails you down to a date and possesion of information. Registered and Certified letters are only used for one reason - to incriminate people by dating an event. If they are serious about prosecuting you, let them come and arrest you. But they won't because as I said you have never been in possession of the goods, nor do they have any paper trail connecting you to a crime. "Must have me confused with someone else sir" is the only response and only if you get arrested. Then call your lawyer who will countersue them both for libel and lost wages. Again, responding to a letter and saying you don't know what they are talking about is no good. Don't give them ammo for the future in case the shipper or someone or a witness or something on the other end is in heat and is ratting you out with a proof of order or something. You never know who might be trying to stick heat on you to get out of jail. Stranger things have happened. For that reason, make them arrest you. That way you haven't told a lie or the truth - just nothing. Let your lawyer handle it if it ever comes to that. But I guarantee unless you are distributing, which I assume you are not, it will never happen brother.
