  2. Haven't seen them on the forums for a while, you can get them on the bay though: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ETA-movement-part-date-disc-silver-2824-2836-2893-rolex-oyster-date-/121662084517?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c53a015a5

  3. I made a similar one earlier this year. Gen 16200 case, gen crown, gen dial, Clark merc hands and a swiss 2824. I sold it to a good friend of mines and I am in the middle of gathering up parts for another build. Do you have any pics of your dial?

  4. Fair play to my watchmaker, he did say the dial is in remarkable condition. It will always be there for a change out back to original. But at the moment, i've got my explorer on, literally and metaphorically. I love this watch... A few shots of the transformation....

  7. The crystal should sit very slightly above the bezel and not flush. Some guys don't know what their talking about. It may appear flush in some pics. Noob always gets this wrong. 2.35 gasket will cure the issue but you will need crystal press to do it properly.

  8. You need to use a different gasket in order to solve this problem. Order a 2.35mm gasket which is right. noob uses 2.7mm which is wrong
