  2. Hmmmmmm an interesting approach to the situation. I suppose the salient variable then will be the diameter of the watch face. If the diminutive black hole is at the 12:00 position, then up to "n" times the dial radius will be the Event Horizon, "n" of course ranging from zero to 8 steradians, if we're to broach the 4th dimension and Solid Angles... after all "what happens inside the Event Horizon stays inside the Event Horizon... ....but then we get off into paradoxical information leakage and Hawking's Firewall and all bets are off. How big did you say this dial is? Please tell me it's not 37mm (shudder) Okay just to make Legend happy, here's a good reason to replace that pearl pronto:

  5. I suspected that. No way a rep could look that good. Now I can continue crying in the shower.

  6. Could also be as simple as tightening up and oiling of rotor.

  7. Movements with ball bearing rotors (such as ETA and clones) make a lot of noise. It is the nature of the beat. Rolex, which uses a pin/jewelled bushing rotor is whisper quiet, again nature of the beast. I asked a tech at Breitling a while back regarding the noise from the rotor. I was told that the ETA based watches were just loud by nature. They (Breitling) had tried for years to design that aspect away but couldn't do it. Live with it or buy a Rolex.

  8. Get a thorough and proper service and replace the autowinding module if need be. I've had noisy gen Rolex watches and it was an indication of age and rebuild needed.
