  4. I know most guys have had or wanted a DSSD at some point and there has been much discussion on the dials so I thought i would just post up the gen dials that have been issued the biggest diiference is that the MKI has a gloss finish which the others do not and this leads into the Deep blue which the rep has a matte finish but is actually gloss like the MkI most noticeable when it catches the light especially if you ARd the crystal... So while I was putting together my franken I found various info on the variations and thought i would share them here before I get rid of them and move onto my next project... There are 3 variations so far starting with the M serial /Mk I The V Serial /Mk II/ Mk III mostly MKIIs and the G serial MkII/MkIII mostly Mk IIIs The next easy tell is the position of the = Mark I...... ft=3900 Mark II......ft = 3900 Mark III.....ft= 3900 Here are the pics that show more than words ever could.... Heres the DSSD II against the Deep Blue Heres the gen Deep Blue unmounted

  7. I agree with Mike, While we all try to be civil and as helping as possible, we really don't have time for folks who are mean, vindictive and just down right assholes. I would expect that trhe majority of people who act like that are more than likely suffering from low self esteem, beaten down at work at play and at home. Their only outlet is the anonymity of the internet. These people can be as mean and nasty as they want to be, because they have no fear of having their front door kicked down and some guy storming in and beating them to the inch of their lives. The internet allows cowards to be big and brave and mean, but in the end, they are just small people in a big people world. absolutely no use for these folks here are anywhere else for that matter.

  8. The keyboard tends to make some people 10 feet tall in addition to the herd mentality that this is the proper way to conduct ones self. I and other senior members here would have a few words for a guy who started that here, herd mentality in reverse: being a gentlemen is the way on RWGcc.

  12. Hi Guys, Today some pictures of my new Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore 26400 au. Inside is a 7750 valjoux movement. Before we go to the pictures I need to tank my friend Legend for this one. He arranged this watch for me so I'm very thankful for that Enough talk, let's go to the fun part! Thanks for watching!

  13. yes the biggest issue is the bearings are junk from when they are new! we can use heavy axle grease and then the watch does not any longer "sound" fake or use the correct eta oils and have it be "in proper spec" and sound like a junky piece of poo.......i think that being replica watches, getting them more believable as genuine is more important than using the "proper oils" besides, do you really think the bearing will wear faster with axle grease instead of light oil? i think not......choose as you wish. yes, the rotor will spin faster without the grease....is that a good thing? vibrating on your wrist and sounding like a toilet flushing? besides, it only winds in one direction. when its spinning 5000 rpms on your wrist, it's going backward anyways and not winding............
