  6. I recognize this, coveted rep and only rep'd with the steel bracelet, you never know until you ask though. I did read, unconfirmed though, that the rep bracelet is a perfect match for the GEN case. Can anyone confirm this?

  7. Hello mate, the white arrow on yours works as an hour tracker.. I have another version that runs as a seconds hand (not gen like but more useful imo) with a bit of a thinner arrow.. I'll post some pics of my version later same cost $200 think mine is a tiny fraction narrower as well. The thing that annoys me most is the stupid smiley sun on what is supposed to be a moon phase , don't mind it being day night phase but image of sun looks rubbish. Other than that I'm happy with mine

  8. The white hand should indicate the number correspondent to the weekly count of the year as you can see 52 is the higher on the scale which is the maximum number of weeks in a calendar year so give it a week and check whether it moves or not.

  9. Yep. Nothing like vintage Rolexes! I have 3 5500 Air Kings, the 5500 Explorer and a 1500 Date. I have a love for the 34mm cases. I hear people always say they are too small for thier wrists, but my wrist is 8 1/2 inches and I think the 34mm cases look just fine!

  15. Here you can see some photos. I know that it is full of flaws but, frankly speaking, I can live with them. The screws sucks the spacing of the dial is totally wrong but, at the first look, for 200 dollars it is ok. Please give me your opinion about that. Thank you Alex

  16. Caci - You are going to have to spend some money to get a dial & handset that look gen. Unfortunately, that is just the way it is. All the standard rep-quality parts look like what you currently have. Alternatively, you could have the dial refinished professionally, but that would cost about the same as a good replacement dial & may still look 'repainted'. Were it me, I would start saving for a proper dial - high-end aftermarket or gen - & handset. Also, have the 1036GMT movement properly overhauled when you replace the dial/hands. It is overdue & these GMT movements are not something that should be left to run without proper maintenance. Once the parts wear out, you will have a hell of a time finding (& need a second career paying for) replacements.
