As of now, the VIP members can select a skin/forum look that has no ads. All they need to do to get rid of the ads is to use the drop-down menu at the bottom of the forum: and select the RWG VIP skin This skin will of course not show up for regular members

FINALLY someone utilizing this great feature

We now have a new feature available to our members. The 5 most recent topics are now displayed on top of the forum, below the shoutbox. If you think this crowds up the forum to much, you can always use the small minus-icons () in the top right corners and collaps the sections you don't want to see.

Unfortunately, Alexa only offer some of the truth when it comes to traffic data. Their data is based on users who have the Alexa tool bar installed or who use a tool like SearchStatus in Firefox. Taking a look at the server logs actually show that March 2007 has been the most active month here, with over 25.000.000 hits. This month we have an average of68025 hits pr. day so far this month, so we're not going to beat that record in a while It does however look like we will set a new record in datatraffice this month as we are now transfering about 6GB of data every day so far in this month. If this keeps up, we will get close to 180GB transfered in one month; Here are some numbers for you: Hits: February - 19256432 March - 25369145 April - 22654134 May - 23021475 June - 22654789 July - 19893428 August - 20349725 Daily visitors(average): February - 4101 March - 3914 April - 3897 May - 3952 June - 4302 July - 4043 August - 4601 September - 4608

The truth is that we don't have that many VIP membes either. After Paypal closed my accounts, the automated downgrade-routines has not been functioning correctly, so there is a lot of members who are no longer VIP members, but still have VIP status. I have to manually downgrade these members, but it's such a pain in the a** + a lot of work with manual DB queries so I keep postponing it

If you ever see these kind of text ads, please take a screenshot of it and e-mail it to admin@rwg.cc. Also provide a link to the ad and preferably save the link that the ad points to. I hate that kind of ads and I would never ad anything like that to the forum!

Skype is indeed a great program and I would highly recommend it for anybody. Free calls to other Skype-users and even if you don't have a speakers/mic/headset, you can still chat with other Skype users. But with todays cheap USB headsets, it's usually easy to download skype, plug in a USB headset (headset with mic is highly recommended) and have it working

You can now add a live Skype-button to your posts or signature. You can either use the "Insert Special Item"-menu or you can type it directly into your posts/signature. The input should look like this: [skype]myskypeid[/skype] The result will look like this: (This is a non-existant skype-id, so it will not show the correct online status!) To be able to show your online-status, you will have to enable this feature in your Skype-account.
