  1. The new content area has been changed by the devs of the software, so that's how it will be presented from now on.
As far as functions go, I have now tested everything in all major browsers (Edge, IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera) and everything is working just fine for me.

If you still have problems, please remove any temporary internet files/browsing data: https://sites.google.com/site/webtech1009/internet/internet-browsers/how-to-delete-temporary-internet-files-cookies-and-browsing-history-of-the-internet-browser
Restart your browser and do a "forced refresh" on the page you had problems on by pressing one of the following combiantion of keys/key:
    Windows: ctrl + F5
    Mac/Apple: Apple + R or command + R
    Linux: F5

I can't reply to PM's and the top of all screens looks mis-aligned:

Do you get an error message when you try to reply? And like I said; things will look a bit strange until I get everything sorted out.

Could also be a good time to clear our old cookies and temp internet files on your computer ;)

  3. Messaging interface took a giant step backward IMHO... :-\

The developers of the forum software has gotten some complaints about this. Not sure about the thoughts behind it, but I think it is meant to look more like a e-mail client. I dunno if anything will be done with this, as this is out of my hands and in the hands of the developers of the forum software we use.

  4. also on the mobile skin it no longer automatically skips to the first unread post in the thread. If there is a way to fix that it would be great.

    I am looking into this

Can not edit my shouts? Or others for that matter which I do need to do sometimes.

    This will be fixed

Can not edit feedback really need that mistakes as just happened and pissing matches when a deal goes bad. Maybe missing something but in the past very straight forward to do.

This will be fixed as soon as the developer releases a new version of the plugin

  5. Well, as you can see, the whole look of the forum has now changed. There are still some minor tweaks that need to be done, but things should look a bit more familiar, well organised and text should be more visible (font colours, contrast, etc.) Hope you like it.

  6. I haven't read through all the posts to see if it has been mentioned but the 'Remember Me' feature at sign in is not working.

    Ken

Working just fine for me, Ken. As usual, clean our those cookies and temporary files in your browser and make sure your browser is not set up to block cookies (You would probably have noticed this, as you would have the same problem on all sites you visit if this was not working.

Anybody else have problems with the "Remember me"-toption when logging in not working and they have to log in every time they visit the site?

  7. I posted this as a PS in another topic, but I figured it needed a topic of its own.

All traffic between RWG and your computer is now encrypted. Since we have established a store with a checkout facility hooked up to Stripe.com, we wanted you to feel safe when you enter your personal info, and since we encrypt the traffic on these pages, we might as well do it on all the other pages.

So on most pages, you should see a closed lock when you browse RWG. However, there will be certain pages, until the caching server has caught up with the recent changes, that will display so called "mixed content", meaning that some of the content is not encrypted. This is usually pictures loaded from the server and this error will disappear after a while. All pages where you enter personal details (login, checkout, store, donations, etc) does not have this problem, so your info is perfectly safe,

  8. Members should now be able to purchase upgrades through our store, http://rwg.cc/store, which will hopefully be a much better solution than the one we have used so far, as this is 100% integrated into the forum. Unfortunately, we will not be accepting PP, but only credit cards, processed by Stripe.com. And donn't worry. No personal info is EVER stored on our servers!

This also means that I have to clean up the current subscriptions and other stuff, that has gone though a third party site for quite a while, but I will get back to that at a later time. So please, support your favourite forum and upgrade your membership, if only for a month, as an appreciation. Heck, you could even call a 1 month upgrade for "Buy the admin a beer"-upgrade, even though I rarely can afford any beer at the end of the month, after all costs with servers and everything is covered ;) So I would really appreciate some upgrades, especially to test the system and see that it works ;)
