I am working on something and hopefully, I will have something available in a week or 2 depending on how lon the validation process is to get approval from a couple payment providers. Will most likely be on CC payments available and it will not be integrated in to the forum software, so I will manually have to upgrade members, but it's better than nothing. I'll get back with more news as soon as I can share more.

As you all probably know, we are unable to offer our members to pay and upgrade their memberships. Untill we have a solution in place, we will add free memberships to the members who have lost their status and are unable to pay. We will also open up the trade area for posting to regular members with a minimum post count as thing were earlier. 

Again, I apologize for all the inconvenience these things cause, but unfortunately, we are in a business that doesn't seem to be very popular with the payment providers we are able to apply to.

Amazon payments are just for US Citizens, as far as I can see...

Well, as you all know, PP has closed down multiple accounts in conjunction with RWG and I have always asked them why, but never gotten a reason. Today, I got to talk to a human being (And fellow norwgian) and nby the notes he had access to it was due to pornographic content, so it literally looks like the little x-rated corner we have/had here, is the reason for all of this. And since I continued to open new accounts and they shut them down, I guess this is the reason. What really bugs me about PP is their 0-strike policy. They just closed down the account. You never get a warning and a chance to remove the content. They just closed the account and they don't even need to show you proof. All I have ever gotten is that "we have closed your account due to it being a high risk account" bla., bla., bla....never once have they told me; this is the problem, fix it and you can keep your account.

And they have not just closed 3 accounts today, they have closed ALL of my accounts, including 2 other business accounts I had for perfectly legal businesses.

I will see what we can do, but I guess one of the big problems with the forum is the sale/rep dealers who are here and I think as long as they are here, it will be extremely hard for us to get an account anywhere.

Today, Paypal closed down three of my accounts; 1 that is used for RWG, one that I use for my regular business and my personal account. I was trying to open a new account in conjuction with a new business I am opening and this was also closed. A guy from PP called me and basically told me that all accounts I open in the future, will be closed. So this is just an FYI that you will see your subscription payments fail and your upgraded  memberships will expire. I will have to look into if there is any other optiins for us to use, but after the last round, where we got denied pretty much from all payment-solutions, I am not optimistic about this

Just to add; Lots of content is on the way back from our backup-servers, so all images, avatars, etc should be visible again within the next 1-2 hours.

Guys, I am sorry for the extended downtime, but something that is not supposed to happen, happened last night. Since I have been working all day trying to recover lost data (without succeeding), I will just make this short post and get back with a better explanation tomorrow. In short, we managed to get all of our raid disk arrays "poisoned" with corrupt data that spread to all disks. How this happened, I have no idea, but this effectively killed our web and DB-servers. I have been trying all day, on a shitty cell connection, to restore data, but a couple of hours ago, the techs at the datacenter basically told me to give up. So the forum has now been restored to our last "healthy" backup and all of our servers have been reconfigured and set up from backups. Because of this, about 12-24 hours worth of content is gone. So sorry for any inconvenience when it comes to PM's posts, etc. Go ahead and resend your PM's and repost your great posts. I'm off to bed

Hey guys- as a few have mentioned already I'm new to the forums, just over a month now, and have been overwhelmed by the great people who frequent these boards. I upgraded my account yesterday to VIP without knowing RWG needed the heavy support to maintain. I just upgraded, again, to platinum. Keep up the great work!

Within a couple of months RWG will most likely go though a big facelift and it is also a big chance that we will change our name. I get 2-3 every day from confused members that can't log in because they have forgotten their passwords or username and when I try to find them, they are not registered here as members, but at another RWG forum. Anyway; I wan't your suggestions on improvements you would like to see here. Are there any sections you miss, should we introduce new, dedicated brand forums, etc. Basically, post your suggestion to what you think will make our forum even better. I'll keep watching this thread and reply, if needed, in it and will then take the suggestions posted here with me in the development process. Might also post some polls to let the members decide on new features, if we can only select one from many, depending on the suggestion.

Member has been warned and account suspended for 48 hours for violating our sales rules. So the buyer will need to wait a couple of days before the seller will be able to reply to any messages.

Been enjoying 14 days off, but I am back again now. I'll try to work my way through the PM/E-mail backlog. But at least I am back, so PM/E-mail me if you have any probs
