  1. About a year ago I bought a Breitling Evolution from Phoband and three days later the bottom pusher was gone. I tried to get help from Phoband but he offered no help but to ignore my calls and emails. Well a year later I come back to the forum to check in and I bought a new Skyland from Joshua...I got the bug again for our awesome reps. I still had the Breitling Evo with the missing pusher and when I come back to the forum I just happen to see Phoband making quite a name for himself here and I brought up my negative experience. Well after I posted my experience and problem...Offshore and Trailboss located a pusher for me and sent it to me from across the planet.. at NO COST TO ME..I brought the watch and pusher from Australia and now it's all fixed! How cool is that? I am amazed how these guys came to my help and my watch is now fixed and looks great. Thanks you guys!
  2. Yep, just in case some visit one forum versus the other...plus I got different answers...go figure...HK Tan was the suggested in GD...
  3. I want to get a nice replacement strap for my Breitling Skyland Avenger and I called an authorized dealer to see what a Gen would cost...$480 for a gen croco deployant strap... They must be smoking something there in Breitling. Who do you know that has a great reputation and sells quality straps that would fit 22/20 Breitling style deployant strapos? Thanks

  5. Hey guys, See the picture below. If I receive a pusher is it just an easy fix to put it on the post and push it on? It seems that it won't require the movt to be removed...but I could be wrong. What do you think? Anyone ever replace one? If needed, I will have someone fix it (per Offshore's post about a Florida repair person).
  6. I avoid any reps in two tone. The gold always tarnishes and just doesn't last or look good on reps. Get SS...much more convincing and less hassles. I've owned TT reps and always got rid of them.
  7. I don't know its possible but it looks right so that's a plus. Only very minor difference on this watch than the gen...pretty amazing out of the box without any mods just wish the lume was like the gen...that would be the "ultimate".
  8. Lots of company meetings and client meetings...thinking of taking it off for the client meetings tomorrow...but with work it will be on display... Love this watch.
  9. Here's a question... I have a gen Seadweller...i'd love to have a ceramic insert...would a rep ceramic insert fit my gen?
  10. Pretty bad clear back rep...some people are just scum who try to rip people off like that.
  11. I know...it's weird right? Joshua is sure it's a V2 but I just haven't cracked open the back...I don't want to do it...i'm a bit of a noob on stuff like that. I'm sure it's a V2 by the 1 of the 10 and 15...do we have other pics of V2s owned by people here that we can compare the subdial post being silver?
  12. Yep, thanks and I agree..it's a small dot but not a half. I contacted Joshua just to confirm and he also said he is positive it is a V2 and the movt is not decorated per V2. So, I feel good. Regarding the pearl on the bezel...is there any chance of that little part falling off or is that really secure to the rider tab?
  13. Thanks! I also just looked at the engraving in between the lugs and mine say 4916 B5 like the V2 listed in review: http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd229/Toadtorrent/Breit-Skyland-DateStampComp.jpg Plus, it's a bit weird because the subdial tubes are not white like listed on the review for V2...mine are like V1/V3. But I agree the 1 on the 15 rider tab looks like V2 and the dot is full...just small... It seems to be like a bit of a franken of V2/V3.... But the biggest evidence to me is the lug serial numbers being only for V2
  14. Here you go with the best shot I think I can get with my iphone...I dont have a good camera with a macro to take it close up... When I look at the 1 on the 15 rider tab it looks like V2 to me...but the dot at 3 is a little small but isn't a half...it's weird...what do you think?
  15. No idea...Haven't opened it up. What would you guys do? I specifically ordered a V2 which is $30 more than the V1. If I in fact got a V1 instead of a V2...how do I handle it? Is it really that big of a deal? Thanks
  16. I'm confused...does this look like a half lume dot at 3? It seems to be a whole dot....
  17. If it is V1 then I am [censored] because I ordered a V2 from Joshua. However, there are some details that seem odd.... The subdial stem is not white on mine as they say it should be on V1.... also, the B on the side by the 55 n the outside of the bezel is engraved...not etched... Also, the dot at the 3 is not a half dot like some of the V1s I have seen. The 1 on the 15 tab rider does look more like a V1... Its hard to tell but If I paid for V2...I want a V2... Any others to chime in before I go back to Joshua a little angry...
  18. I'm looking but don't know what to look for...can you tell me? Thanks!
  19. Someone on the general forum said it was a V1. But, I ordered a V2 from Joshua... Please tell me and give me specifics of why if it is a V1...thanks...
  20. I think you are mistaken. Mine is version 2. Not version 1. Or, can you tell me what makes mine version 1?
  21. I took a year or so off from watches (rep and gen) and really focused on my music hobby so I bought lots of guitar gear. But I recently came back on because I went to Cozumel Mexico and saw a killer Breitling in the store. It was a newer model Avenger Seawolf Chrono (which I hope gets a rep one day soon). I almost convinced myself to buy it for $3,500....but...I remembered my old friends back at the forum...even though I had a bad experience about a year ago I decided to come back and look what was out and hot and I contacted Joshua who has been around consistently with awesome stuff for a long time. One thing I noticed on a handful of these newer reps are that they are so much better than just two years ago. The using of real models to copy and the details on the straps and bracelet are amazing. I need to learn the details again of what is "wrong" with each model but some Breitlings and the DSSD are almost impossible to tell unless you are an extreme Gen expert. That is just killer. I checked out several models that I am still going to get this year. The Ultimate DSSD is going to be mine soon. I own a gen SD from 2005 that I bought new when my son was born. I will never get rid of that Gen SD because of the symbolism and that I will hand it to my son one day. But the DSSD is an awesome watch. I also want the Rolie GMT anniversary or the other SS with the ceramic bezel and maxi dial. I'm hooked again...I feel like my guitar and amp collection are at their best so now it's time to get a collection of the best Reps out there that I love. One of the APs might be down the line. I only wish they improved the Daytona with the whole giant rehaut and the weird movt...and can someone please use real gold on two tone models?...I'll pay more for a serious looking two tone model with SELs and solid links. Anyway...I'm happy to be back and look forward to more buys. Here's my latest purchase:
  22. I got the Skyland Avenger this week with a graphite dial and it's a stunner out of the box. Here it is...
  23. Looks like a rep to me. The shiny chronos and the back set date wheel...seems like a rep to me.
  24. Very true! But, really I Haven't seen any of those examples to exist...if so...I would be willing to pay more.
