Because I own both. Ok, I have to admit that the real super reps (which many of these cost above 500 USD, see the good HBBs) are about the same quality with 200 USD gens. The 280+ USD reps are not as good as the cheap gens. That's of course is a general statement

Lately I have started looking for automatic watches that I can safely and easily use for swimming without taking any risks. I am discovering a whole new world of automatic watches that are ranging from 100 to 500 USD All automatic. At the same time I also have discovered that the quality of theses watches (Seiko, Orient, Zeno etc...) is much better than of the reps here. So I was thinking .... an idea..... of creating some new subforums with Genuine watches. As

Hi guys , I baught few day ago a new Seiko Divers 200m name "Black Bullet". The official name is: SEIKO SKXA53K1 200m Automatic Diver. The problem I have is that the watch (when winded, 100 turns aprox) and while not at wrist , its power reserve does not exceed the 10 to 12 hours. I was expecting this watchg to go up to 40 hours. Excellent write up. I have really enjoy reading it. Though ..... and that's independent of the review , the problem with reps (any rep) is the total lack of any QC and constinency. The fact that this particular watch is water proff down to 50m it doesn't mean that the next one (...exactly the same watch model) can surevive even an imersion in to a glass of water. I repeat. The review is really great. Are the reps that are not consistent.

On the Spanish forum .... one of the big dealers (according to comments from a well considered member there) ... has confirmed that some time during April (.... bu now, May or June I guess) there will be a new 1:1 version with fake ceramic very close to the genuine. Also said that it will be expensive.

Since you are new to reps ..... and before you get the bug , listen to this. 3 our of 5 reps you will get, will be defective.... and that's from the vast majority of the named dealers here. Picking up your rep and dealer carefully could reduce this rate (....the 3 out 5 defective) but it will not eliminate it. .... so be prepare.

Precious Time is using an "associate" lately ..... and this doesn't smell well. Hope I am wrong.

I am not sure .... you better ask Jako .... but I think, one member (who has send the same watch to Jako for AR) discovered that the crystal was crystal in one side and something like "plexi glass" on the other ...... and therefore no AR treatment was possible. Check in to K2222 subforum. I think the above finding was stated there.
