  1. I sold a PS1 when they very first came out, with 12 new titles and extras, at
  2. Hi Im a newb about to embark with watch tinkery by following the modules on the 1st and 2nd course. Theres quite a few options for tool kits, as seen here: http://www.tztoolshop.com/FB_Catalog_TZWS-toolkits.html I dont wear glasses and I need something good but not overly expensive. Being new, I do like the idea of the ready made kits, with everything needed at my disposal. Any advice as to which option I should get, or which one you have purchased and the quality of the kits is most welcome. Thanks
  3. I kinda assumed it was new to the UK, but on closer inspection its published 4 times a year. So when I saw it was issue 1, must be the first issue for 2008. Its published in the Netherlands, and at
  4. Im not affiliated to the publication of the new watch magazine 00/24 but it was a great suprise seeing a luxury watch magazine available in the high street. It features a good article about Hublot Big Bangs and Roger Dubuis watches. Its dripping in serious watch porn photography. Any other RWG members purchased it and if so what are your thoughts?
  5. Great collection! Im going to chime in with the others asking - just how can I get a box like that? Tried everywhere, my collection is crying out to be incased in such a wonderful box!
  6. My new PAM GMT from Chronology, I'm really chuffed wearing such a fine watch: After just a few seconds under a desk light:
  7. Heres a few watches from my collection, only been collecting for three months but I'm really enjoying looking at the site, ordering from the boards trusted collectors and waiting for my EMS parcels to arrive! Sorry for the massive pics, gone from one end of the spectrum to the other! Rolex LV Green SS Submariner "Perfect" from Trustytime Nearly spent 3,030GBP on the real thing, before deciding on its much more resonablely priced equilvient: GMT V2/II Swiss ETA 2836 My favourite day watch, came with 3 different easily changable bezels, has a display glass back and fully functional GMT hand. It has no brandings and markings making it simple and I think elegant: Thanks to Pugwash for his photography tips! Hublot Big Bang Cappuccino My first serious rep from King. Pretty expensive, polished ceramic bezel, nice AR worth the price: PAM186 Arktos GMT SS (Updated) from Trustytime At first I didnt like the model, but bought my first Strap culture strap and love it. Thanks to Pugwash for his photography tips!
  8. I paid 600 pounds for it, the owner before judging by the previous receipts had sunk quite a alot into it in terms of having a new clasp to the bracelet and having "corrective attention" to the case, case back and bracelet. Its nice to get the full service history of the watch aswell as the awesome box. As much as I like it, Im unsure as to whether to keep it or to sell to fund a genuine Panerai or Rolex Submariner. I didnt know it was no longer available to the cilivian market, maybe I should hold onto it for a little longer so thanks for that.
  9. Had a lucky find in my local jewellers a year ago, a cheap second hand Omega Speedmaster X-33, was being sold with no box or instructions which put me off a little due to the complex nature of the watches many functions. I was told that the watch was owned by a Flight Commander in the Air Force who said he was going to return the watch box and paperwork at a later date. I bought the watch and didnt hold my breath on ever seeing the box (which is really nice as made with spaceflight material) but sure enough it was sent through and receipts for the servicing of the watch. Was really pleased and paid an extra 148 pounds on having the watch fully serviced. Where as before it was a little scuffed and scratched I picked it up yesterday and here she is:
  10. Thanks taht is a good find, im going to get me that bracelet and check Silix out too. Being a noob I wasnt even sure what the size was that I needed so thanks guys for being great!
  11. Hello I bought the other week a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date watch fitted to an oyster link bracelet in an auction that mostly sold antiques. I'm really happy with it as it cost the same as my rep Hublot and after having it valued at an AD its most definately genuine. Only problem is the watch is gold plated, on the underside of the bracelet links, is some corrosion. I've look for replacement links, but cant see anything and theres no way I'm having the watch serviced. Do you think buying a similar rep watch with gold plated bracelet I could simply swap out a couple of the links? And if so what would be the best model to try, Ive seen a couple of models from Precious time, but this is still all very new to me Many Thanks
  12. What a fantastic watch! This is my next purchase, what strap is it? Looks great! P.S Sorry for my name being similiar to yours, its purely coincendential, if I hadnt become a suporter I would have changed it!
  13. Thanks for the stills and the time spent putiing them together. Not sure if the film is out yet here in the UK but im so excited about seeing it. Might have to get myself a Slytech Pam in honour of Stallone!
  14. After careful consideration and reading all the information from the forums, which Im really thankful for, here is my first serious replica watch: Now I just need to consider which watch to acquire next!
  15. Ahh thanks ever so much! I was taking it off quite a bit just to admire it.
  16. Hi Thanks for reading this, I've become hooked on this forum after only joining recently and couldnt help myself purchasing my first decent replica a $900 Hublot Big Bang. It came yesterday, and its to die for, Im going to purchase some pictures shortly. I've had more compliments about the Hublot than my geunine Rolex and Omega X-55 in the space of only one day! However, im unsure as to whether its faulty, it stops every forty minutes. The seller whose been great but speaks very basic English, says I need to wind the crown. Any other Hublot owners had any problems? Should i wind the crown clockwise or anti clockwise?! Sorry for the noob questions! P.S thanks all for contributing to an excellent and informative forum
