  1. So you generate over one and half million dollars of business and you get rewarded with an empty box, bet that had you fired up! Only kidding its a nice thought. He could have been cruel and waited to see have seen the look on your face as you see the Rolex box, eagerly opening the outer layers, pushing aside the paperwork, waiting to see the splendid timepiece, only to see theres nothing there!
  2. Sorry if its a dissapointment, I feel a little guilty showing anymore, any other pics of RWG's g/fs racks are most welcome in order to boost this thread!
  3. Brother visited yesterday. He likes collecting anything and everything, he's a regular vister to auctions and this is his latest acquisition. I snapped a few pics quickly, its a small watch, but very heavy for its small size, you can tell just by handling it, thats its a very expensive watch. Its not something I would go for if I had a few grand to spend but I thought I would share a couple of pics of what is a very nice little watch:
  4. Her boobs were nice and this pic doesnt do them justice but here goes, you get the idea, she was very buxom:
  5. So, you joined the forum after a friend suggested you should join. You then tried to sell a batch of watch straps or watches and were told you couldnt? But then you say you have a Pam and wanted some straps for it.....This is harder than solving the Countdown conundrum
  6. Doesn't your friend whose in the watch business find it a little insulting that you collect replica watches? Your funding an illegal trade and potentialy damagin his livihoods. You must have alot of nerve/balls by wearing a rep when meeting two highly knowledegble people. Im not knocking you, its just something I wouldnt do. Id be far more comfortable with a gen or a homage watch than wearing a rep in such circumtances.
  7. Its funny, when looking at any watches in a AD. Id always dismiss the range of Omegas, they never did anything for me, I think it was due to the seeminly neverending variations of standard blue faced wavey faces Seamasters. However two of my favourite gens were / are Omegas, the X-33 is sadly long gone but the 45mm PO is new and one I intend to keep and cherish. The PO feels and looks sporty yet extremely stylish. I love the look of the PO with either the steel or rubber strap combo, at the moment i prefer the rubber, no need to worry about desk scuffs: Past: Present:
  8. Thanks all for your support. Girls just dont seem to understand the passion that collecting and tinkering around with watches can hold. The only watchmaker females know and can relate to is Sylar from Heros and he isn't exactly a great rolemodel for our hobby. I'll post a nice pic up when I upload photos of my watches this afternoon.
  9. So I had been seeing a girl for 6/7 months, we got on well (or so I thought) I work anti social shifts and so did she. One night instead of washing up I made the mistake of checking RWG, this was the catalyst which lead to a huge row and her walking out. Its a shame as she had fantastic breasts. Which just like watches I made sure to take some good photos of. I never did tell her that the Christian Dior Malice I bought her was a replica The good thing now is is that I have someone nicer in my life and four great gen watches that I shall be posting pics up later off and all in all my life is a lot happier without her, so thanks RWG!
  10. Thats a tree-mendus collection you have there, I need to take a leaf out of your book and get a pam added to my collection. Nice pics
  11. I have had my gen Omega PO 45mm for two weeks. Im not normally a fan of Omega watches, but its the sportiest and classiest watch I have ever owned. I prefer the rubber strap over the stainless steel. Omega PO 45mm all the way, if its good enough for James Bond its good enough for me! Thanks Wheaten for sharing those Daniel Craig pics, after seeing those shots Im in love with the PO even more!
  12. Have I read it correcly that the watch photographed is on two different straps: A genuine IWC buffalo and a Di-Modell Chronissimo strap? They look so close to one another, I bet theres a huge difference in price though. I think Id get bored of the watch quicker than I would the strap, Ive heard a lot about Di-Modell and I can see why!
  13. Nice and informative and easy to read with good pictures. I think I might get a Sinn, just need to do some research on sellers and pricing. The strap looks fantastic. Thanks for taking the time to share.
  14. I say Om"ee"ga you say Om"ay"ga, you say po"tat"o I say Pota"toe", you say to"mat"o and I say toma"to"
  15. Is the brightest star in the constellation and on these forums (possibely)
  16. Hublot for me faded pretty fast. Just thankful I didnt have the money or the paitence to own the original. Pams also, just find them to be a bit dull.
  17. Noslen, out of curiousity who is that chap in your avatar? Is it you? No offence meant, but for some reason he gives me the creeps.
  18. Thanks for an excellent review! Im sold Whilst a genuine 1911 is a nice idea and I did seriously consider purchasing one a few months ago the deappreciation on them if your decided to sell it on is crazy. It cant hold its value on the pre owned market like a Rolex or Omega, expect to sell at a 40% loss. Thats the only reason that put me off from purchasing an Ebel although the company do seem to be spending alot on its brand awareness.
  19. If you from the UK there are only three collectors that I would order from, all watches having been QC'd, all are in the country (if not they will be ordered) so nomore tracking of EMS pacrels and preventing a huge amount of disapointment.
  20. Im guilty of not commenting at times on reading an excellent review, a good comparision article or a really informative post of which RWG is full of. Im going to remain positive and to reply more on posts that I really have enjoyed. Id be lost without RWG and I agree that the interest and love for reps can sometimes wain but I really think all in all RWG is still an excellent place. I was just miffed about how a new forum user had treated Cats on a sales thread (that wasnt his) that really sparked my initial post.
  21. Hello I joined RWG earlier this year, back then there wasnt anyway near as many users posting as what they are now. Infact it seemed there were only a certain few that seemed to post regularly. However these were old established members whose posts were very informative and I learnt alot. I cant help but thinking at present the forums seem to be awash with new members asking goofy questions that they could have researched themselves, posting wanted ads in others selling posts and spamming the boards with pointless one liners. I might be looking through my rose tinted specs but the whole board seems to have slipped a little. Granted we were all new once but there doesnt seem to be any regard to any forum etiquette. It might me just growing old and miserable.
  22. Still find it hard that someone can pay $8,000 for a replica watch and that was back in 2006! With no proof of authenticity of the diamonds and with blingly look that will make you ridiculed by all.
  23. Your grandpa married again at 83? Good on him! Who old is his wife? Thats a lovely watch, one to treasure and keep, all that sentimental value attached is priceless.
