  1. ummm this thread reminds me of: "2 girls 1 cup" video
  2. erm not my cup of tea either, looks like its covered in soot.
  3. i think i prefer my iphone over this.. even my N95 is more functional than this "brick". it looks nice and I am sure it will appeal to a lot of rich *&&^%&^%. As a phone its pretty sh1t3..
  4. the fact that rwg thread show up in the google results for common replica searches makes it damn easy for anyone to arrive at the forums. great for SEO, but not so great if the intention is to keep the forum a secret.
  5. as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. :-)
  6. yes u are right. I was a bit afraid of the size until I tried out a gen. I am wearing mine on a leather strap to break up the metalic profile a little and soften the look of the watch a bit. It is big and fat (statistically speaking), but as you say, it doesnt feel that way..
  7. I bet the Uboats are out of the question for almost everyone then? lol
  8. I agree, 40/42 is a safe zone for me too. 80% of my watches are in that ratio. It look sensible. extreme for me are my 44mm Chopard GTXL and SOSF. I wouldnt go any bigger though.
  9. @meyer: did you have to quote the pics too mate? @prozac: nice watch buddy..
  10. hmm, the poll is a bit pointless as everyone's definition of BIG is different - everyone's wrist size is different and so are their preferences. why not have a poll as follows: Are you comfortable wearing: * 40mm * 42mm * 44mm * 46mm * 48mm * 50+mm That might give some sort a comprehensive insight into what people prefer. I have 7.5 inch wrists and I tend to prefer 42mm and would go MAX at 44mm. So, in ratio to my wrists, 42/44mm is not really a big size as such. I am comfortable at that size.
  11. iam surprised no one posted any pics so far
  12. opps, i misread, i thought u were looking to age the watch case, aka the metal body. I hadnt realised you were after aging the DIAL.. hence my reply about again metal. as for the dial.. coke might just dissolve the whole thing..
  13. make sure your watch is waterproof before leaving it in coke overnight.
  14. Precious Time aka PT precioustime-uk.com ptswiss.com by-tor you beat me to it.. lol
  15. here is a good thread about aging metal in general. perhaps this may be of some help example pic attached http://www.artmetal.com/blog/lostheart/200...d_a_nice_patina
  16. not directly related but have you tried dipping it in coke overnight or a couple of nights?
  17. i got the white swiss ETA version from PT and personally I think the white or black looks better. As per the seconds hand, mine has the older one. TBH I dont think it makes a difference.
  18. from what i gathered after reading through the reviews etc was that blue version is not as accurate as the white-black version. sorry I cant be more specific, have you checked out the reviews?
  19. More entries here: http://whyinternet.blogspot.com/2008/01/hi...ry-contest.html
