  5. haha. thats what i said to myself back in feb 08. here we are in aug, 6 months in and I have just received my 5th watch in the post. the wish list is growing rapidly as we speak.. haha The amount of info on the forum is really mind blowing, I am hooked..
  6. why oh why oh why. i admire your skill and the effort you put into this. hat off to u sir.. it certainly does look unique and kinds looks like a mini spade stuck to ur strap.
  7. i love the look of this watch. I think the black dial works so much better. please god, make the rep dream come true
  8. cheers for the heads up on the movement. did you check to confirm if it has the movement that u paid for? mind if i ask who u bought it from? This is most certainly the next rep i will get! did you consider getting the lillo date wheel?
  9. i am sticking to my black macbook. air is well.. all hot air.
  10. @condemore: beautiful watch my friend. its seduced me for sure
  11. its a very nice looking rep despite the obvious flaw on the caseback and other small flaws. I only wish they had put some more effort into the detail and getting the caseback correct.
  12. my thoughts exactly.. the more people think that reps are something that they can tell apart from 20m away the less we need to strive to obtain a SUPER REP. After all we get super reps so we have the most acurate rep that is hard to tell apart. The more misconception about reps and the less people know about the "super-reps" the better for us really. quote "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was to convince the world that he didn
  13. i have somehigh quality A++++ quartz high precission, super quality reps. pm me.. :-P

  16. kaisey ho bhai?
  17. 0. cause I think they look ugly (matter of personal taste). If you like then, then I guess there really isnt any limit
  18. all quartz watches are gen in my book and not worth investigating further. If I see a quartz of an automatic thats a sure give away anyway, again not worth investigating.
  19. i bet u care that - the price u paid was for a GEN ETA and what u got was a copy. a bit like u having paid the price for a GEN AP-RO and getting a rep? same principle mate. the sooner we ditch "i dont care yada yada" the better for all of us. There has to be honesty and transparency about what we are buying. This isnt disposable pocket money for some of us.
  20. care to enlighten us about what they are?
  21. cause the gens are "affordable"?
  22. oooh steriotypes... a topic just up my street!! cant a man eat a pizza without being branded a low class, rep wearing cheap bastard? :-P its proven that kids are the best and the easiest ones to brainwash with advertising. KFC, MCDonalds, Burger KIng etc they are all equally bad. If i took my 5yr neice on a day out and the choice for lunch was Pizza hut or a fine italian place, I wouldnt think she would choose to eat at Bertorelli's. :-P And based on the above statement, if i was sitting in a pizza hut with my neice wearing my gen (insert brand here), I would certainly be there to make a kid happy/enjoy the moment/have food. I wouldnt be there cause the chain complemented/uncomplemented my watch or my clothes. also, it is possible that the watch wearer or whoever the he was with enjoys the pizza hut buffets?
