  1. Hi, Just seen a Breitling SFSO - Asian 21J that Narikka brought back from his trip to the far east. Here is a little description on the watch: MAKE: BREITLING MODEL: STEELFISH-SUPEROCEAN CASE FINISH: Polished and Brushed SS Case, . MOVEMENT : Asian 21,000bph automatic FUNCTIONS: Hours...minutes...seconds... / Date. DATE DISPLAY:@ 3 HELIUM RELEASE VALVE:Fully functional DIAMETER : 43.78mm CASE DEPTH:17.15mm WEIGHT: 207 grms MATERIAL: Unibloc construction / 316 L stainless steel. CASEBACK: Solid / fully engraved CROWN: Screw-down fitted with 'O' ring. FRONT GLASS : Mineral glass with simplex AR WATER RESISTANT : Yes. http://www.villagephotos.com/viewpubimage....6&selected= A few questions if you guys dont mind: Does anyone have this version from Narikka? Any flaws? What is the quality like? Is mineral crystal with simplex AR any good? Overall, Narikka's price for the watch is very good and from the pics I received it does look ok. I dont expect a uber-super-rep... HMM: it seems the seconds hand is completly the wrong type.. anyone? Thanks
  2. here is what you want: Hirsch Rally strap
  3. you can remove the strap using a springbar tool or some sharp knife, standard strap removal: http://www.watch-batteries.com/fitting_a_strap.htm the deployant is fairly easy to remove too, there is a tiny screw instead of a springbar. remove the screw, push the bar out and you r deployant is free off the strap

  5. something like this I guess here are some more for the list:
  6. what a nice response guys. I am finding this very intersting. A lot of creative and technical people here. Which may explain why we choose Mechanical watches that are designed with passion...
  7. TODAY: A gen ALBA TOMORROW: Kalashnikov Justice AK-2282.02
  8. Hiya guys, I thought I'll start a little introductions thread and ask what line of work are you guys into? I dont mean sector, but actual work title! I am in the IT field and I work as a programmer/web developer. What about the rest of you?
  9. here is my "flame red", had this for around 10 years now. Reliable at times, not overly comfortable YET it costs me a bomb in expenses every week...
  10. i asked myself the same question 2 days ago. I was itching get a panerai homage watch + steelfish or something. But instead of collecting more reps I ended up getting an 8GB iPhone instead. Back to your question, I would rather have the TV.
  11. hehe.. and this? (thread not intended for political/religious bashing)
  12. haha. too much jiggle and bounce is making me motion sick
  13. LOL. this has to be the highlight. lets start another thread "watches in porn movies".. haha. I was wondering when someone would bring this up.
  14. sorry its taken me a while to return to this thread, my head was rattling from the discussion for a few days. haha So some of us actively or passively persuade others (at times) that we are wearing something a lot more expensive than its actual value. what happens when at odd occassion we are "called out"? Do you feel pain/anger/happy/dissatisfied the quality of your super rep? what is one's reaction to being "called out"?
  15. mine is Chopard GTXL & IWC 3717 for those smart casual (shirt) days and midpriced gens for the t-shirt days. Generally, i try to choose the watch that compliments the occassion and outfit.
  16. haha, you beat me to it. I only managed to get 97% of it. Having watched it, I was expecting it to be a more of an insight into watch replica trade, which it wasnt. Interesting none the less. I will see if i can put it on an ftp server for you all.
  17. YOu are there mate, I hadnt even heard of Anonimos. But yeah I the design is quite nice..
  18. very nice watches TeeJay, thanks for sharing mate, seems like there are so many good models out there. I love the black PVD version. Also, I came across a few GEN watches that mimic the panerai style, they are more than my budget but I think a gen is worth stretching out my budget: Magrette Regattare Valencia http://www.magrette.com any ideas/opinions?
  19. Mate is Tony in EU? has anyone from Eu had any hassle with customs etc? Where can i see your wrist shots? Yeah I guess you are right, I am not overly bothered about being "called out", its a rep and as long as I remember that myself I guess it doesnt matter what others make of it. The one in the picture is "alright", but its in a pretty bad shape, too many scratches and crown guard is in a very bad shape. I think rather than spending money to pimp this one I would get a best rep $150 can buy. how about 111h with asian movement? Anyone know of any eu/uk dealers that carry it?
  20. I was looking around at silix and perfect clones, so I guess around $150 budget I am looking at asian movements? Any suggestions on model?
  21. I dont know much about Panerai and such but I have currently put a crown guard and a leather strap on this: dedicated thread here Haha, just to try and see if i like the look of panerai on my wrist, the experiment is strictly confined to the 4 walls of my flat. Admittedly, this may be the worst panerai in the world. But I like the look and the size is not overly massive either. I am sure the kind folk here can recommend me something that is miles better than my current hockey puck. I am looking for the "super rep" or a highest quality rep, but on the budget of around $150 max.
  22. i think my upcoming purchases are going to be mid priced gens instead of a rep
