My gen dial does not have any red lettering whatsoever.....I believe it depends on which dial you have...

Unless you are matching the Gen, give your custom maker YOUR measurements, and he should be able to make it custom for you...Any good strapmaker can get a custom fit for you as well as match the dimensions of the gen.

These did not come from you.... I purchased actual rep straps with two deployant buckles.... You know mine were not reps.....except for the buckle... I guess you still think I am talking about the coach custom?

Yeah, yeah, I know....I just needed the buckles to make custom deployant straps for...... Not wearing them....

Very good points. The only other issue is the tolerances as eluded to. Fit and finish are definitely different. Another note as mentioned, buy the seller before you buy the goods....Same thing applies here.....

Ok. Just received my rep straps with Deployants. Major difference on one of them is the engraving of the logo. Rep is very shallow and does not exactly have the same details as Gen. However, this same deployant has better engraving inside of the clasp and matches the Gen very closely if not the same. On the other one, the engraving is spectacular on the logo. However the engraving inside is heavy handed and too thick where it says Breitling. The engraving where is says Model Depose looks as if it was silkscreened and not stamped/engraved. As Mike says, the curve is slightly different rep to gen. I think quality control is one of the big thing that seperates Gen from Rep and I have two rep buckles that are vastly different in quality. If I switched parts between the two buckles, I would have a very near perfect one indistinguishable from Gen and a horrible copy that would stand out a mile away! Hope this helps!

I'll shoot some tonight. Only mod is a black gator strap with yellow stitching to match the dial. Lume on Pams is not that great to begin with....(i'm sure some will disagree...), and I believe it was serviced prior to my acceptance. Out of the box its just about perfect...

The Pam Ferraris are some of the most accurate out there. Mine will be up for sale soon as I just havent worn it in a long time. I prefer to allow someone else to enjoy. They are good looking time pieces and if you want to purchase, any of the trusted dealers on this site or long time members can get you a fair deal on a good piece. Stay away from the rattrapante models unless you like the look more than the functionality. All will come with crappy rep straps unless purchased from a member. All will/should come with deployants...see previous comment. Good luck!

As soon as I receive my O/R from over seas, I'll make this same strap but with the O/R deployant..... . The color really works well.
