  1. Dear UB7 & Micky. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was loving the tempus edition because it was so close to the all black, but no way i think ANYBODY was going to fork out $1,000 for it. this is much more affordable and the new pinstrip strap is a nice change as well. thanks again for providing the links!!
  2. Tomriddle - I wish! only 2 things stopping me....the price and availability of the bracelet! I shot those pics moments after i received the watch and the rubber strap was bent awfully out of shape so I took it off so I could lay it out and straighten it. PS - did your RG HBB come with a natual rubber strap or synthetic? because my 2 SS HBB's came with synthetic but the RG came with very soft natural rubber and vanilla smell. here is a pic of how the strap came
  3. Cheers Kostas! looking forward to it
  4. Here's one link... although, I must warn you first...bezel is a basically a rep insert + u will have to pay around $10 for shipping. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Mid-Black-Bezel-Inse...1QQcmdZViewItem
  5. My new toy
  6. All jokes aside I'll put in my experience... 99% of my sales I do on the boards, simply because I have no interest to sell elsewhere. We all share the same passion and if anything goes wrong the members here are much more understanding and patient than elsewhere...or maybe I've just been lucky the other 1% are not exactly "sales" - I give a few to friends and family who like what they see. *Please note: this only applies to me, myself. Not for other dealers. * *Edit: I'm sure this applies to all dealers - we all have a regular day job and just do this on the side...
  7. The standard seagull movements are readily available from the likes of Ofrei and Cousins in the UK, however still haven't found a source for any of the more complicated ones (venus in particular)
  8. Question - if there was no date window issue involved would it be a simple swap over with the Asian and Swiss? or would you still have to transfer the gears?
  9. Space - the pic you posted of the white dial Speedmaster is with the seconds at 9 o'clock as well - it is only like that in the pic because it is an official pic from Omega and they did not want to block the Omega logo and wording (all watch makers do this) Another example from the Omega site
  10. A Rolex Day-date is set to automatically change both by itself, what may be the problem is: You have set the wrong time...the date mechanism works on a 24 hour clock which means you probably have set your watch 12 hours early. - if that's not the case then you may have a faulty movement (all it needs for it not to work is to be missing one gear) Hope that helps, Mike
  11. Sorry to break the news to you Jim...but it is the regular Asian 21J movement found in most of those modern rep Subs - Not Swiss ETA.
  12. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it just a case of removing the second hand and repositiong it back at the right position?
  13. Very nice gold Sky Moon, if I do say so myself Enjoy
