  1. Nice and entertaining story. Makes me want to Ziggify my vintages.
  2. 50 eurocents to transfer it from your account to your dealer's, zero to transfer it from your bank to MB, making a total of ... 0.50
  3. Amazing stuff. Now all we need is to know what watches these are in. ps. I want one.
  4. Why are you visiting with https?
  5. Yup, there's a problem. I bet it's back soon.
  6. Right, so once the propagation is resolved, we'll get a shitstorm of mail?
  7. I don't use my credit card to upload cash to my MonkeyBonkers; I use a direct bank transfer. It's free but takes 2-5 days. A credit card is quicker but it costs. It's still cheaper than WU.
  8. I have bought a few watches using MonkeyBonkers, including my latest n00b from TTK. It's the future.
  9. All those sources and arguments against God? Satan created them to cast doubt. He got to you, you're going to burn. See? You can't argue against that.
  10. You're mistaking me for TTK. ps. yes, it was a weak argument.
  11. There is no scientific evidence I didn't create you but are you willing to believe that too? In fact, I've decided I'm your new god. Accept it or I'll consider you a heretic.
  12. See above. If you have children and decide to devote the rest of your life to improving their life, in what way is your purpose your own? Giving your life for another is possible, regardless of faith. To deny us selfless acts like this because we do not believe in a higher power is a little arrogant.
  13. Um, not so. You're implying Atheist can't love, which I can assure you is not the case. It's got nothing about serving a higher power, and using your logic, I can imply that Theists are not prepared to accept responsibility for anything, as their actions are all governed by a higher power. Neither case is true.
  14. There is indeed! Thanks.
  15. Um yeah, I didn't find that in my searches.
  16. Very nice, Epz. I'm doing the exact same thing. 7 bar pressure, eh? Not bad!
  17. Sure, it is that good, but I'd not take it to an Omega AD if I were you, as he'd ask what's up with the AR.
  18. Possibly the toughest SS bracelet to adjust. I'd go find a rep-friendly watchmaker to size it. In principle, you push the pins out of the bracelet in the direction of the arrows printed on the bottom of the links. There's a sleeve around the middle of the pin that you don't want to lose. There are several posts about this but my advice remains "get someone else to do it".
  19. Or, as I put it ...
  20. Never doubted you, but there was overwhelming use of the term "7mm tap" being bandied about. As I'm a total n00b, I wasn't to know.
  21. I just spoke to Mrs Pugwash and she sounded perplexed stating that the standard size is 3x0.5, which she has. Sure, if you can lend me the 3x0.35, I'd appreciate it.
  22. "sorry....I won't be offering the AP 7750 series....either Swiss or Asian......price is not competitive"
  23. No idea, but I did find that a 7mm tap is NOT what's needed. Mrs Pugwash kept saying "are you sure it's 7mm? Do you know how big a 7mm tap is? I'm finding it difficult to picture any part of a watch that can fit a 7mm tap ..." but I assured her that it was indeed what was needed. She got her set of taps and dies out and handed me a 7mm tap. It's a bit big ... a lot big, in fact. It's definitely not what's needed as it's wider than a Sub case. If anyone with the right size tap can read out the numbers printed on the side, I'd be grateful. The Cousins tube looks to be a 3mm diameter thread.
  24. I'll be here. I may even do a nice happy birthday pictorial.
