bump. Looks like yuki or ndt is the best bet but I don't want to use a gen movement. Anyone have tips for ETA movements?

My 5517 is almost done. I got this email from PBDad today. He is still going to SLIGHTLY age the insert and install the Yuki pearl. Specs are: MBW 5513 Case Cartel Insert Yuki Pearl Gen Tropic 19 Plexi Aftermarket 702 Tube polished Gen 702 Crown!!!! NDT 5517 Dial Omega SM300 Hands ETA2846 I'll post more when I get it, but it'll be here only for a short time as it needs some other love from Neckyzips ) And with finished with the pearl installed: I'd like to thank members of RWG as when I started my 5517 project, I really had no clue where to start. I think the next big thing that the factories need to work on is correct datewheels. It's amazing how much better a rep looks with the correct datewheel.

So I had a similar post a few months back, but now I have my 009 back from Avitt. Not only is it three shades of "tritium" it's three case finishes. The 040 still needs some CG work, but other than that, they are DONE! So I'm building a 5517 and I wanted a specific gen crown (I eventually found out it was a 702). At first, not knowing much about Rolex, I bought the first gen crown and tube I saw posted on the forum. However after doing much research I found the crown I wanted was a 24-702. During the hunt, I ended up with a 24-703 (with long logo) and a modern crown. However this weekend I finally found a 24-702 and I've got an aftermarket crown tube from a member here.
