Bobby if you want a 3717 then go and buy an version 3 asian 7750, get it serviced and lumed, buy ETA day and date wheels and you will have 99% at 10% of the price, if the watch that will last almost forever as long as you get it serviced every 5 years, or just buy a V3 and use it, if you fall in love with it then get it modded

There is nothing wrong with the a7750, any the hands wont fit and neither will the dial.

Thanks for that Francisco, at lest i made my regulator mod a bit better then theirs then, I was toying with the idea of stetting 3 cap jewels into the area under the transfer gear and the new hour wheel to get rid of a bit of friction, good idea?? would be a 23 jewel movement then as well BTW when you look at mine remember i did it with nothing more than proxon drill press as tooling

I think the perfect candidates for these are the Omega GMTs and Pam GMTs as they will fit gen hands ect, they will make a very reliable rolex GMT but it will still be incorrect hand stack.

Always worth repairing The things with crystals always order 3, the size you want, one smaller and one larger unless you are sure. I have modded a couple of moonys to plexy so speaking from experience here. if the crystal you measured is 33.0mm then you want a 330 crystal. Get in touch if you have any questions.

Thanks hike, and the rest i have managed to do what i wanted to a bad degree but it is fit for purpose, PS4 is pretty complex, but i realized in the end what i needed were layers. and parts of the dial in layers, Problem with net books is that you dont have a disk drive, now i am wondering if i could do what i want using the photoshop elements that have pre-installed?????

Was lume reference if on thew older dial freddy, was it t 25 or just Swiss made, I only know of radium marking or a + in a circle on military dials, they may well have had radium or another substance in the lume.
