  1. I wonder what the case looks like, or the owners wrist!!!!!!!!!!
  2. I think the shot is an omega studio shot set like that so as not to obscure any detail on the dial.
  3. WTF happened to that i looks like i had been working on it,
  4. Welcome, how do we decide, well we read lots and make informed decisions based on the information we read. There is a saying first choice is the seller, once that is decided then look at the watch. Spend some time before you spend your cash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Well if it is too good to be true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. I dont even think you see it unless you look for it taking up the 6 on the hour counter, if they took that photo on the 6th youy would be saying where????
  7. I think i would like one, not sure if it is an auto though, 3313 i am pretty sure can be an auto but it does not say it on the dial and that would be a big departure from the original, I cant find it on the omega site, and the closest case size is the legend with date @ 42mm using a 3301 auto
  8. Not back untill mid july but would love to attend if i am back, might enjoy a walk round the rld too, Duck will proberbly come also if i am back.
  9. Did teeJay have one of those??
  10. Just read about it in the new chronus, 44.25mm powered by a 3313 movement and now with a date, That is the one thing i realy miss on my rep speedmaster moon type is the date and the extra mm would be nice too. Enamel dial so they say. Now i am not a subdial spacing expert so the question is could this be powered by a tricompas 7750 and keep the right spacings.
  11. Love it, great idea. Keep em coming
  12. Right that is it NO more GMT ceramic pics, I dont need a rolex, no realy i dont, no one would belive it was real on me, i have loads of watches why would i want one, i just spent a ton of cash on alcohol last week, i cant afford it, the wife would not be happy, its too small after a pam, too shiney, bla bla PS still wearing the ingy and still loving it (The rep that is not the gen)(loving the rep that is)(i like the gen dont get me wrong but the rep is better becase it was cheeper!)
  13. You try getting a negetive thought out of me about the INGY!! I think in a away we are just spoilt, we have for the money and when you get a good working one some very nice and in alot of cases well made watches. I have bought auto citizen and the likes for a couple of hundred Euro (about my limit for a rep) and had the same and worse problems than i have had with reps. @ Stephane nice past mate.
  14. I think that is a gen rubber, and i dont think they are that expencive either, Euros 50 ish i think, not sure that is with the buckle though.
  15. I got mine back on but it was a struggle, hockey puck and vice sort of effort.
  16. And that makes me wonder where this loss of $600,000,000 that the swiss watch industry say they are loosing to reps every year comes from???
  17. I tried on a gen 252 in brussels and the AR was almost invisible, but also very slight and did not look like it made a lot of difference.
  18. The main reason for the correct hand stack for me would be the ability function as it should, ie have the GMT hand permanently set to GMT and the hour hand set to local, with the incorrect HS, every time you set the hour hand tro local you have to then reset the GMT to your other time zone.
  19. I have had a few ips database errors today
  20. the 7750 only winds in one direction (the one where it does not spin freely) i found that my IWC Porto had the same problem, if you can set your winder to only rotate in one direction that suits the 7750 and any 28XX movements will also be fine as they wind in both directions. If you still have the problem buy you own copy of "Debbie Does dallas" and retire to the den daily.
  21. Mimmosa Please less of the silly fools bit please, yes people over react some times, because they like doing their thing, just keep this hobby and this site out of the limelight, it only takes one slip of the keypad and J C Beeever will be back in china frisking his work force looking for lost bezels, and yes that realy happened.
  22. I think a dab of 242 on the thread will do the trick, let it set for a couple of hours
  23. They dont want much round here do they This looks good apart from the size of the numbers in the bezel
  24. For all those people who like myself made this mistake and think spring bars are in order have a look here for a 204 and this is one i had so i should have known better
