  4. That PO on leather looks smart!
  5. Well we knew this would happen when they were desribed as Eta 2813, and asian eta by the sellers, I would be happy with the clone just as i am more than happy with seagull ST18, a clone of the 2892, although a little less dodgy, if i know who was selling the clone movement wholesale i would be tempted to get a couple, i have a project in mind and my first choice is the ST18, never even crossed my mind to get an ETA for it and it wont. I think the problem with the clone is not one of manufature but of QC same with all our problems. These will never get the same QC as a ligitimatly bought movement as they all go out the back door and no one is looking for a QC stamp, but buy an ST18 from cousins for a little less than and ETA 2824 and you have some gaurentee. Same if cousins could get the 2824 clone.
  6. A service before it is too late.
  7. Good looking Pam and is that B&R a rep? never seen one like that!
  8. @ Jk i agree with almost all of what you say above but if you change the date at the wrong time it will fuck up
  9. I am sure that ziggy noted that in most cases the eta parts will fit the clone, not much of a "clone" other wise, they are proberbly made on ex ETA machinery any way, ziggy what is your take on this?
  10. Wind it only genly when the movement has stopped other wise rock or twirl it in your hand to wind it or keep it on a winder, never change the date unless the time is set to 5:30, so that there is no way the date change gears could be engaging with the day and date wheels.
  11. Just for a change, it was getting boring with the ingy every day so i am having a half day with a pam 177
  12. that is a bit pricy just for the bracelet though
  13. Welcome do what ztech says and read lots, you will be supprised by what you can learn here!

  15. Sorry Dave not sure, maybe DSN
  16. Thanks for letting us know, that does seem to be a lot of problems !
  17. I like it and i think it could be repped quite easiliy!
  18. I have had one or a similar one, but sold it as it was never bought as a keeper, mine did not have a screw down crown, but apart from that was a nice watch, it is still going strong on thew wrist of a mate of mine, no problems. One point these are quite small @ 40-41ish mm for a pam. PS got mine from homer @ a very good price.
  19. I like it and i would wear it, who was the seller?
  20. 5.2mm stainless, that is some heavey work, they look good but 5.2mm, having made a few myself i know how much work this is. $190, for that amount of work hey i am not complaing at the price, just not buying one.
  21. Bruce Willis sports this chic Omega Constellation in the film "Breakfast of Champions," thanks for the answer mate
  22. Rocco was wearing this in the Fashionistas, but if you watch the film you may not be thinking about watches
  23. too shiney
  24. The one from king, looks like it has a better decorated movement, but on an acuracy point both have the one same flaw, as soon as you look at the back you will see it does not have a co-axial movement. that is all. if you are in the EU then i would get intouch with precious time and ask him though. Use the contact link on his page. You will not be disapointed.
  25. The difference is the seller, and that can be very important!
