  1. yes...gen H-series has the sandwich dial....
  2. MBW Milgauss....but gotta admit, I'm vasilating on those PVD PAMs...I'll probably debate with myself till they're no longer available....
  3. jury duty this week....so I'm thinking:
  4. I guess the MBW Millgaus fits my mood...
  5. My choice would be the rep Chanel from River.....you can get the box and papers for a few dollars more...bracelet is ceramic like the gen....and Chanel will appeal to the half french part.....
  6. it looks really nice.... question: what do you think? Is it real wood? etc....
  7. tonton: if sydneysider e-mails you some pics...could you post them?
  8. klaatu0001: Welcome back at you from Cleveland....enjoy the stay.... jeff
  9. quality, customer service, shipping time...all A+....buy with confidence
  10. I had a problem with them calling me because I did not put anything in the description line with my payment. They wanted to know what I bought, who I bought it from, etc.....I didn't answer their question, and I posted when it occurred. Seems like it happened to several others also....
  11. yeah...like we could forget that avatar! Welcome home.....
  12. Jordi: Paul doesn't really advertise in the dealer's section of any of the boards. There have been a lot discussion on Paul pro and con over the last 6 to 8 month. General consensus is buy at your ouw risk......that being said his website is: www.aspire-eshop.com good luck on your quest
  13. I have bought 2 watches from Silix-prime....transaction went well...maybe took a couple of days longer than River, Josh, or Eddie...but in the end everything was good. Also, remember that shipping is not included in the price so you have to add that in....... Personally, buy with confidence.... jeff
  14. I wonder if he wants to know whether it is swiss or chinese 6947......
  15. Ubi: thanks so much...you have a PM Jeff
  16. I recently purchased a Ralex Rolesium with the new chinese movement (red/pink gear). When the watch arrived and I attempted to set the date and time, the crown with a portion of the stem pulled completely out. I got the back off, and was able to get the other part of the stem out.....here are my questions: 1) is there a source for a new crown and stem? 2) would I be better off replacing the movement with the 2836? This is not the greatest rep in the world, so if it get's expensive...I'll just get one from a dealer... 3) source and cost of the movement? If I don't really know what I'm doing should I even tackle this? BTW...I did write the dealer, but thus far no response...and he did give me a really good price as part of a package deal, so I'm not really expecting much (if anything) from him..... if all else fails, I could make it a very small planter.... jeff
  17. Sorry to be a bit late for the party...just got back from a mini-vacation....I'm in too for a bit $. admin: funny thing, Dutchy had mentioned A/P on his wish list. We had been PMing and I pointed him toward your sale posting and mentioned the R/O Jumbo.....despite what he's saying now, he wrote me back that he loved the watch, but ...too rich for his blood.... Dutchy: people do things because they have to OR they want to. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we all want to make your birthday "special"....so relax, enjoy, and we want to see you on the what I'm wearing this weekend.... BTW...Dutchy..remember the conversation on whether or not MBWs are special?..if I read Luckyyy right, you just might find out (a quick preview: the answer is yes!) jeff
  18. Dutchy: Good list. I have the following: MBW DRSD MBW Millgaus MBW A/P Royal Oak Jumbo SMP Yachtmaster Rolesium Breitling Seawolf Panerai 005 JLC Reserve de Marche Muller Conquistador If it's any help in your selection process, I wear the DRSD and the Seawolf the most.... Now if it was me, I'd go over to TRC (Rolex area) and check out the orange hand Explorer with the gen movement that Luckyyy is selling...probably will cost a lot of your list...but sweet...what a great compromise...vintage RLX, gen movement, MBW quality.... jeff
  19. Considering Ferrari"s reputation for design, technology, and utiliztion of exotic materials...I would have expected Panerai to try a bit (really a lot) harder....seems more like a marketing thing for Panerai...
  20. Chris: lug width on the 2892 Conquistador is 19mm.....
  21. Still works for me, and photogallery 2 is pretty active...
