I just got my TC V3 band and I must say it is a big improvement over my Euromariner band. The links fit closer together and the edges are much smoother I really did not know what I was missing. My only complaint is that the clasp is a little stiff. It is a small price to pay for such a nice band.
Black centers on the chronograph hands (incorrect), orange second hand is wrong (the short side is too short), If it is a DW case then it has had a gen/aftermarket crystal added and a phong or other aftermarket bezel.
I took a rep rolex band into a local watchmaker to have him fix the tube on the band. He said where is the rest of the watch. I told him at home. He gave me the watch back and said bring the whole thing in so I can make sure the band is on the watch correctly. Does this sound fishy? Also, is there a risk that the watchmaker will say it is a fake and refuse to give it back?
A valjoux 72 or 727 movement is very complex. It will need a very good watchmaker to work on it. Also the movement has not been made for quite a while. I wonder when your movement was last serviced. Servicing is not cheap and will probably run you $275+ dollars.
