  1. Still waiting for the insurance $$ for that and you bess damn believe i claimed the dragon pen anyway - for those of you who weren't around - and want to know what were talking about - i don't have a pic of the pen - but this is what happened to my keyboard
  2. Sorry 2 different thoughts - King jubilee hasn't responded yet. he made some kick ass pens. I always wanted one but never go around to it. the guy on the internet seems cool to. The dragon pens - ttk sold, but he was always out when i wanted one, i got from the website that i posted, i think they were in PA. I'm suprised though that they can be had for 35 bucks mine burnt down with my office. I may get one, just for the hell of it at that price its a kick ass pen, but you will never use it, you need a forklift to carry around
  3. I emailed the old king to see if he is still in the pen buis - i got my first one from here http://www.hisnibs.com/dragon.htm
  4. they do that on purpose - that way the rep manufactuers can't sue for copywrite infringment. Rollie makes them so close, but leaves those little flaws as a way out. Or it could mean, maybe we scrutinize this stuff too much sometimes, as it seems even Rollie doesn't have a hard fast "right and wrong"
  5. There are very few "high end" reps Mostly panerai - Some rolex's but as you read you will realize there are flaws in all of them And i am starting to see some very good breitlings. Other than that its hit and miss. Corum is not a popular enough brand. Now, there are VERY bad corum reps and some Not so bad corum reps. They all have asian movements and if the look like the same dial, they came from the same place. In fact. i have seen them all and i can usually tell pretty quick once i pick out 1 flaw which other flaws will be in that model. However, that being said, there are some very wearable models out there. Its all about enjoying the watch. Fact is, almost no one knows the brand corum and of those that do, there are very few nuts about it like pam or rolex so they don't know all the details. There are hardly any corum enthusiasts boards out there. I love corum and i love the brand because they are creative and dare to be different. OK - final point is, i have a watch up in the members sale section a corum admirals cup chrono that i got from trusty last year. I am changing out my collection to get some fresh new watches in. I like to rotate them. If you are interested pm me, i will give you an offer you can't refuse price just to move it on to someone who will enjoy it next Best of luck in you rep search. Remember to focus on what you enjoy vs. what the board says or what is accurate or not. If you focus on perfection you will be dissapointed every time guaronteed. If you focus on your enjoyment you will be satisfied every time

  7. very interesting, seems to have the 59 dollar watches for 59 dollars and the Plus 200 for that as well. Didn't see anything worth having an affair behind my favorite dealers back
  8. crap i didn't know that. Next time i'm in my office up there its around the corner i'll stop in sounds like Fun. I did recently get to sit in my first lambroghini a few months ago - Man - its low. How low can you go. How low can you go. . .
  9. Here is the real deal - there is a big industry in cigars coming from other south american countries that get sold as fake cubans in the US. Most cubans sold in the US or in carribien cruise ports are fakes. I got a connection that can get the real deal, i did it once for a client of mine. 120 a box. And my wife's cousin (wife is cuban) actually went there 6 months ago and brought back a handful of cigars. Which i also gave one to one of my clients. - I don't smoke - but the point i am making is, they are not really any better than a dozen others. THe only real appeal is that they are illegal. I would recommend waiting a few months, looks like the world will change there very quickly
  10. is that the ones i'm thinking of with the lambro and the van? are they buried? could you take a pic? I have always wondered what the names of those toys were
  11. thats sweet transformers are great but remember go bots or better yet remember teh die cast toys before go bots that came with the little plastic guys with the magnet feet. There was a van a lambroghini and some other car. those were then re-released i think as go bots, may have been transformers. Those magnet feet guys were cool
  12. That is seriously F-in hilarious
  13. Here's the situation, Your Wife says - Honey, i'm running out to the store, I'm going to stop at the jewler and bring you home one of those watches you wanted that was Sub 10,000 dollars US. Which ones should i look for? So of course, you hand her your list of the Top 5 Sub 10,000$ Gens you want to see in your Watchbox Comments - I like to have a nice variety so it fits my mood. I think with These 5, i have all of my occassions covered. Some may be suprised by the corum. If you look into Corums history they dared to be different and creative. The bubble watch to me represents a direct stab at the status quo. Some may think it pretty, some ugly - no one can deny its original. Its my way of wearing a tatoo or piercing. This watch is my way of stickin it to the man. - At least until i have to make money, then i put on the zenith or jaeger coultre Now its your turn

  19. plating http://www.gizmag.com/go/6007/ the Gold-plated Porsche August 15, 2006 The town of Pforzheim in south-west Germany is famous for its jewellery and watch-making industry and accordingly is known as “the City of Gold.” The city is also the home of the first Gold-plated Porsche. Visualis, which is situated in Pforzheim, commissioned an artist to gild a Porsche Boxster in 22 carat beaten gold last year and now comes the news that the Gold Boxter will be followed by a limited edition model and nine further Porsches will be plated. All the major components, from the control elements such as the steering wheel and door [censored]s to the car body and alloy rims, are all gold plated, making the two seater extraordinarily expensive, and a price that Visualis has not yet disclosed. Nine further Porsche Models will undergo the same, unique refinement process to continue the creative project. Visualis’ Petra Koehler reports that “curious people are already anxious to know who are going to be the owners of these magnificent automobiles.” If you fancy owning such an exquisite object, perhaps start by emailing Petra.
