  7. Puretime has posted this up on TRC. Its a rep divers strap, and soon to be added clasp (the one with the submarine logo) Apparently the work has been outsourced and will be finished in about 2 weeks! This has been a good week. http://www.replicacollector.com/members/in...mp;#entry152546
  8. i dont know the exact weight, but it is substantial. It made out of the same material as the PAM individual boxes, so weighs about 4 times as much as one of them. BTW i decided to remove to Panerai plate from the top, and just leave the one on the inside. It comes with about 5 spare ones anyway!
  9. ................For the benefit of people who can't access the TRC thread........... Replica dial PROTOTYPE pics, courtesy of PureTime SAFARI DIAL!!!!!!!!
  10. I personally would much prefer an accurate subdial layout. I know its not easy, and comes with its own share of problems, and to be honest i would eventually end up getting one if it came out with a standard 7750 layout, but i just feel that if the oppurtunity is there to possibly make a movt that can make this rep 99% then it should be encouraged. I do understand peoples concerns about the movt reliability, maybe i too would feel different if i had a doa/malfunctioning 7750, modded or not.
  11. Very nice collection, and a lovely box also!
  12. Sad........but true
  13. yeah i too would much prefer a modded 7750, even with the potential problems. They managed it with the daytona and iwc
  14. wow that is really nice!
  15. At the right price, i would get a black dial rubber clad + the safari + the ADC versions. They might even do the Jay-Z LTD Edition BTW - I found this on one of the AP forums Its the weight of the different models The stainless chrono is 166 grams (normal sized royal oak) The titanium Off Shore is 161 grams The stainless Off Shore is 200 grams The 18kt chrono is a big 281 grams Maybe good for future reference
  16. Hi. Yeah its the same height
  17. Is it just me, or is everyone passing the time just staring at the pics sql_pl posted of the gens and dreaming about time machines and flux capacitors that can take you 6 months into the future!? ........maybe its just me
  18. Its the asian automatic day/date/24hr sub dial version by the look of it
  19. Franken watches. Genuine BIC biro applied case, hands, dial and strap Aftermarket photocopy paper bought from Staples stationary (and secret watch spares) outlet. Please no PM's asking if i can get anymore aftermarket paper, they only had 4,000 boxes and were only getting another 900,000 boxes for the rest of the year, so its strictly limited supply.
  20. Im wearing this........ Until i get this........
  21. I think top of the list for me would be a rubber clad, any dial colour. RG Rubber clad would be awesome, only problem would be the weight issue
  22. Great reference page! Thanks!
  23. If thats the case then whoever it is seems to just want to be difficult.
  24. How could i forget the titanium one!
