You may have a tangled coil spring...Let the watch unwound and stop...lay it flat on the table and knock it a few time to bounce the coil spring so it untangles...This should fix your problem...
I have been looking left and right for a good upside down engraved one for my EL 217...A Francisco decal sticker may be my last resort on a nicely finished blank movement...
The AR actually brings out the dial and Make the watch more gen look as the rep crystal is nowhere near the gen crystal quality...Just make sure you don't use intrusive colored AR...
Here is my RC with very light yellowgreenish AR in daylight...
Thanks guys for the compliments...
Reps are never guaranteed to be waterproof...Zig has greased the seals after putting everything back together as always...But, it has not been tested...
Took a few pics of my fully modded CD 2007 came back from the Zigmeister's work bench...The watch featured Swiss ETA-7750, ETA German DW, superlumed dial, hands & bezel...
How do you guys like my old school 217 from EL...? A little beaten up but the case work is well defined and nicely shaped...It has been upgraded with a true Swiss 6497 movement while I am waiting on a good Swiss H series movement with the correct right side up engraved bridges...
Some macros...
And a couple wrist shots...
Just bought myself a Lumix LX-5 as the old Sony is getting a bit finicky to use...A great little camera with lots of features...Took a few pics of my old school Honpo 063...Still trying to faimilize with the camera though...
And the lume shot...
Enjoy...
Still one of my favorite after all these years...
A few shots on the dial, case, crown and CG...
A couple Zig-lumed closeups...
Beautiful DSN engraved Swiss 6497...
Strap it on a custom dark brown calf strap with light gray stitching and it looks business...
