Just got the Black Bird in and it looks great... One question I have for the current BB owner: Is there a quick set date function from the crown...?? Or is it no such function with that movement...? I was told the 1st pull out crown position is for the quick set date, but in my case, the crown just turn freely both directions when in the 1st pull out position... Thanks in advance for your help....

Well..This is the poison I chose...What I mean is that there is no existing perfect rep dial around...You have to take the bad with the good if you want one of these...

Both dials are not perfect...So, pick your poison...

Those watches you mentioned above are not so exclusive afterall...They are readily available with many dealers after a short while... That was where the price fixing and strong arming small dealers began...

FYI:........Your 2nd post were relegated to the Off-Topic forum after a couple of pages and now is locked and got dumped in the Recycle Bin over there....

I think a lot of people here did not see the real issue... It is not an issue of how they treat and serve their customer...A good business man would understand how important customer service is and will do utmost to maintain it... The issue is the backdoor price fixing, threatening other dealer to raise price or else they would lose their supply from the factory...The evidence is all there over at RWI for all to see if you care to read thru the thread...And the 2 subject dealers don't even have the guts to respond... If this kind of behavior are not discouraged, we as consumers will all lose in the end...

I have tried many straps for my Fiddy including some high end ones...Andy's stitchless buffalo remains to be my favourite.... I have also gotten this Greek Hide strap by V from Antonis recently and loving it as well....A little bit more seasoning will be even better.... The only complain I have is the floating keeper was made too thin and will not retain its shape...
