Then you win again!
It is (what else?) a watch that helps you spray perfume....
I'm thinking it could be used for pepper spray too for this thread here
Congrats Gunnar!

Watch for the blind
Were you being clever, or saying it's an ugly watch?!

NEW QUESTION
Okay, this is the last in my 'what's this watch?' series for now. Not nearly as odd as the last one!
What is this weird quasimodo watch all about?!

The Classic Billable HourTM Watch for lawyers
Yes it's for lawyers!
Everything a lawyer does is split into six minute units, even if it takes one minute. Means you can do (and charge for) eight hours work in four hours. One minute of 'perusing' = six minutes. One minute of "telephone" = six minutes. One minute of "photocopying" = six minutes, etc., etc.
I know from experience...

Good work! Thanks!
Always interested in these reps as gifts - sometimes a watch can be a bit personal (people prefer to pick their own).
Cheers!

Fair enough guys - as I said this is a very odd one.
I'll post some pointers, and if that doesn't help I'll put up the answer!
SOME CRAP POINTERS:
1. This watch is relevant to how the job is done in the UK, US and Australia. Other countries may not do it like this, so could be a bit unfair! (Maybe they do, maybe they don't - I only know for sure in these countries)
2. The watch movement is regular quartz i.e. one rotation of hour hand is one hour
3. The hour hand performs no function, only the minute hand. So the markers refer to tenths of an hour (how many minutes?)
4. More often people with this job would use a stopwatch (or stopwatch function on regular watch), a chess clock, computer software, or just use their head to work out the function this watch provides.
5. It allows people to change the fabric of time! (Joke!) It means they can create hours where there were none. It is possible to do (for example) 27 hours work in one day with this watch. Why would somebody want to do this?
6. Final clue. Think money, money, money.
Best of luck!!

I wouldn't dare tell my lady friend her days old.
This would have been good advice to have yesterday. I did, and her expression looked a lot like this:

Wow a new way to reduce the wifes birthday to one every 2.7378 years.

Avast is really good and it is for free. check it out here:http://www.download-it-free.com/avast/
I strongly recommend Avast Antivirus - it's the full commercial product available for free for personal use. (They make their money from business use).
Go to their website Avast website and get any info you want.
If there's one product that causes more problems to friends and family (in terms of the "can you fix my computer?" questions I get) it's Norton Antivirus. So I was really pleased to find Avast to wean them all off Norton.

My daughter is 246 days old! We can celebrate her 250th day in four days from now

It wasn't fair - Diego was only 60cm tall and could run between everyone else's legs.

lol you should seriously consider investing in foreign assets, right now I'm getting 7.40% in my savings account.
But then you open yourself up to foreign exchange movements (always the chance they could move in your favour - but it's a risky business, which defeats a lot of the point of banking the money).

NEW QUESTION
Okay, okay - I know we've all got jobs we're supposed to do but......
Another question. This is an odd one......
This is an unusual watch. It is used by people in a particular job. (I appreciate that there are other jobs that could conceivably use it too, but there is a particular one). Do you know what people that might use this watch do for a living, and why they might use a watch like this?
-
You're too good! I thought at least one of them might have kept you busy for the morning!
You're right about the transmitter, there is a US one but it is on a different frequency so you need a special US watch.
Everything else was right - I think with the Corum they even slice the coin in half so that you can see the back of the coin on the back of the watch, with the mechanical movement in the middle.
Well done
It is also a federal offense... destroying/defacing currency.Interesting!!

Congrats!

Great read - thanks for the link!
One of the things it mentioned that I covet are a pair of those shoes. For the most part I have absolutely no interest in clothes or shoes, but these Berluti shoes just hit the spot (in black)! For me tailored suits though are a waste of time - I'll get a tailored suit when I stop changing size! (Generally in a larger and less athletic direction!)

QUESTION 2
This watch isn't mechanical, as the rather dodgy digital bit shows!
My question is this. Mr X likes being on time. No, he really likes being on time. He hears that this watch is very accurate, and he buys it in Milan. However, he flys over to New York one time and is furious to discover that it is no longer as accurate. What is it about New York that stops Mr X's watch from working properly?!

NEW QUESTIONS
QUESTION 1
I thought I would try two questions, because I'm sure that at least one of them is rubbish!!
Sooooo.......
Who makes this watch? Anything interesting about it?
-
If you think that's bad, then you obviously haven't seen this!
OUCH!!

Bored after robbing a bank?!
Even without the yellow colour cast, the pinks and browns from the bank notes make for some uneasy reflections and colour combinations. It upstages the watches - but what watches!!
-
Great work!
I love the way that Lange even admit with this watch that the tourbillon is pointless, other than as a feat of engineering. Shows true class.
-
Remind me never to annoy you!
Nice watch!

NEW QUESTION
Perhaps this is a daft one, I dunno....
What is special about this part of a movement? What is point of this part (i.e. what does it achieve)? And to what watch does it belong?
Best of luck!
This may be OT...
