I really like the back of watches. I am not talking about the transparent backs but the engraved ones. So I open this thread so everybody could post its favorite back. let's roll !

I just bought an IWC portuguese 7 days. As everyone else (I guess) the rotor on mine is a little bit noisy. I wonder if I can grease or oil it? And if so what am I supposed to use to do this?

The reps just never quite cut it and the accuracy and feel are really marginal at best...

And by the way I found few very infos about the 177H. Is it a limited serie or a fantasy rep?

that is funny. I received the almost exact same order yesterday (apart from the PO which has orange numbers). Bought it from puretime and more than happy.

The IWC rotor is quiet noisy. I have to find a way to mute it (maybe by oiling it).

The other thing, I notice the 50th Anniv rep is for sale on ioffer - with solid caseback, decent enough but at $120 you're paying the same price as a gen caseback for a crappy rep - and even then no guarantee it will fit.

I have been throught this research and I give it up for now. Stay us tunes with your researches. Love to hear if you figure this out. After the solid back you may go to the next step which is where to find a good acrylic glass which fits the 42 mm case of the speedy rep.

It should only turn counter-clockwise. Yours might be a little tight.
