  1. Thanks guys. . .I will send over to the smith to give it a once over. . .
  2. So is this a simple fix or put it up for parts?
  3. My Plop V2 is acting strange. . .It stops ticking when you place it face up. If you place it face down it ticks. Took the caseback off to do a little investigation but everything seems intact. Is it possessed or is something in there too tight?
  4. Can we get the rep dealers on this ASAP? UNbelievable!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.harrywinston.com/store/timepieces/opus/products/opus11
  5. I coincidentally have the same problem. I changed the date in the "danger zone" I live in NY. Any suggestions for smiths in my area? Many Thanks.

  10. Your Pics are fantastic. They should be sent to the dealer and used as QC guide. Good luck with the process.
  11. I definitely agree with Jere. I have spent hours sifting through threads and mostly all I can find is ways to pressure test or the science of. There have been comments here and there on how some chronos were tested and survived. Others explain just what Jere wrote about the greasing and caseback tightening. Other then that, I haven't found a single watchsmith or even types of reps that are more "proofed" then others. So what's a lad to do? I currently want to "proof" my Skyland Avenger and all my PAMs. . .
  12. My mistake, wrong watch. My 29 is pinless and I believe it takes a 24mm pin... Thanks mate. . .
  13. HELP! Anyone know where I can get 24mm pins for my 183? Thanks chaps. . .PM me with any helpful suggestions
  14. Agreed. . .the ones worth purchasing anyway.
  15. A good winder is gonna run you at least a crispy hundo. In my experience all the cheaper electric winders are noisy and just don't get the needed revolutions or the counter revolutions. Good luck!
  16. $1.6 in sales in Costa Rica? You should be able to afford what goes inside of it. . .if not you two should have a sit down!!!
  17. We live in a hyper-sensitive world and a major network would be irresponsible to risk receiving bad press over something like this. I think either way, malicious or not (IMO not) he had to cover his a@#.
  18. Great Piece. . . I'm on the fence about pulling the trigger. . . Let us know how the screws go. . .
  19. Check with Davidsen. . .He's the man. . .
