Any anti-virus software program will catch it and it will not be dl'ed. Didn't affect my computer. I'll let them know that they got a trojan dl'er so maybe they'll fix it if they aren't aware of it
The strapluxe bands are made to gen specs. Dunno if endlinks of the other strapmakers are made to gen specs because have never bought from the others before
Take some pictures of your watch end links with the strap as close as possible.
Can't tell if you are installing it wrong or if the watch endlinks are not shaped like OEM if we can't see pictures
no crap it is out, but it is not a real BIG INGY size as PAM1A stated. just a regular INGY
that is why i posted this thread for all the criticizers who are the first to jump over someone's ass
24/24mm means the strap at the lugs is 24mm and the strap at the buckle is 24mm
so a 24/24mm strap means 24mm at lugs, and it tapers down to 22mm at the buckle
and imo, screw bars are easier to change straps than spring bars.
I disagree with you completely and others who dont agree with me either.
"If they can make a perfect version from the beginning, why wouldn't they?"
why dont you ask all the rep manufacturers this?
There has been NO exact replica of a high-end watch on a 1st generation rep! They can make it exactly the way the gen is on the first try but do not. Ask yourself why.
The only logical reason is because they want to make more money by offering more generation reps period!
definitely agree with mikolee that the white strap is more for girls than dudes. never was a fan of cf straps because they just look dirt cheap. cant go wrong with the others though.
another option is to go with strapluxe straps instead if you want more choices. just google them for their website
you should know the marketing ploy. release a well anticipated rep such as this RG Rubberclad with some errors on it. people will buy it because it finallly came out and cant wait. then a few months later, they release a 'corrected' version with some fixes and then people will buy it again.
why make a perfect clone from the 1st release when you can make more money if you slowly release versions that slowly look exactly like the gen?
i dont think the chinese manufacturers are stupid in paying attention to the details on the watch, but just business savvy
if u want to send out your watch to get pvd'ed, u can try
dan dubinksy
google 'dan dubinsky pvd' and u can get his contact info and other related comments regarding his work
i dont have any experience with this dude, but it seems like ppl are generally positive on his pvd work
the good quality reps are always in the back room of the store...whether it be bags, sunglasses, watches, etc.
so always ask if u can buy the 'good' stuff and if they think u aint a 5-0, then they will bring u to the back room and take out the stuff from the safe
AP sells them for i think $20 for a pair of lug screws. google 'Audemars Piguet Clearwater Florida' and you should be able to get the service center's phone number. Ask for Fabio in parts.
