  1. Josh is the better dealer...but the only sound advice to a newbie is "run while you can"
  2. I sounds like a great idea. Should be a series of at least 750 watches to get done properly (=incentive for whoever will make it...and dont forget to get an inspection of the prototype before ordering) Now what AP to replicate? and who will in Asia will do the jobb?
  3. Some more "HOMAGE" TAO international 150WD "Calibre Tourbillon" homage pictorial.. forums.watchuseek.com/f72/tao-international-150wd-calibre-tourbillon-homage-pictorial-472806.html and the replica???: another replica?? Japan Quartz??
  4. Do not use a chainsaw and and automatic watch at the same time....
  5. www.replica-watches-guide.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=14325&hl=cartier TAO Int. Calibre de Cartier homage was on sale on the other forum by mondeov6...nice but not the same functions as the CARTIER it mimics So guess the rep version is out there?
  6. Yes this was indeed excellent for Obama! he deserves a break Obama did what GWB for some reason or other was unable to do.....sad thing is that a new no.1 enemy is much needed....will it be the economy or Iran next?
  7. Finally some good news for Obama! Lets hope this will bring better times for us and for Pakistan
  8. 1. Expensive as a rule means a more expensive movement (such as a genuine ETA 7750) + Better details, has AR, better bracelets, clasps and the like...but no rules are without exeptions 2. If you can not tell the difference between the replicas and you like the watch then it does not really matter and you are better off buying the less expensive variant (in the short term...until one becomes more knowledgable) 3.My rule is that do not buy a replica that cost more than $350 (unless it is modified/improved by a fellow RWG member or the like) This would be a suitable one for a young man in your situation in my opinion http://www.1-pc8838.com/0omse00051-planet-ocean-ssss-swiss2824-p-9522.html
  9. Hi JM and nice to hear this news Joined: Today, 10:54 PM = are you jetmid?
  10. Now you can wear a wristwatch that bears pieces of four rarest meteorites The Louis Moinet Astralis watch features an astral Tourbillon, a split-second column-wheel Chronograph, as well as a 24-hour Planetarium displaying four meteorites boasting unique rarity. The watch case is large being 46.5mm wide. Louis Moinet says that the Calibre LM27 is based on a vintage manually wound Venus movement. The 24-hour planetarium mechanism revolves once a day and successively displays four planets, embodied by fabulous meteorites. Louis Moinet is the first and only watch brand to present an authentic meteorite originating from the planet Mars. Believe it or not, but now you can wear a wristwatch that bears pieces of four rarest meteorites. The meteorites present four planets – Mars, Mercury, the Sun, and the Moon that are part of the 24-hour planetarium presented by the watch. T The meteorites incorporated by the Astralis watch are the following: - an authentic extremely rare meteorite from Mars - Jiddat al Harasis 479. - the world's most precious meteorite - Sahara 99555, actually about 4 billion 566 million years old. - amazingly beautiful Itqiy meteorite that formed close to the sun. - an extremely rare lunar meteorite - Dhofar 459. In case you haven’t been impressed by the meteorites, Astralis boasts a unique combination of timekeeping complications, including a tourbillon and a split-second column-wheel chronograph. 11. Today GRANken is in sunny Norway and tomorrow and rest of week in Brussels Cheers Gunnar Gran
  12. I guess the UPO is allright. Probably a very good buy. Asian movements like the DG4813 are good. no problem 28.800 beat so fine there. ETA = Swiss but then some can not tell asian from swiss so sometimes misrepresented Do not get an Omega chronograph (before you know your way around RWG) Just do it Gunnar
  13. The subdials are very close together so maybe it will be difficult to find a really good replica of this one
  14. I love your stuff What does 50% Gen movement mean in this context? (is the 50% non-gen part ETA or asian?)
  15. Love those Longines too But unfortunately Longines is not a true luxury brand so this stunning FM LI CH on hornback for me this sunny day
  16. is there a solution to that numbering problem? BTW its a stunning looking watch
