Hehe some funny stories here. Have had two so far a rather funny one with a so called watch experts and my reps. So far I have gotten fairly good treatment from watch stores no matter what I have had on so can't say I have noticed, though the Panerai AD in Knightsbridge did fall over himself and handed me every catalogue possible when I asked him for some prices, did have my 111 on that day. First off was the first day I wore my Daytona out, got called out by someone in a rather belittling way who actually works at a Jeweller and is the expert on most things watch related because my "second hand" was not moving... was rather embarrasing for him having pointed out its in the sub-dial as two other friends with gen dayt's couldnt stop laughing at him and he is still getting stick for that comment everytime we go out almost a month on. Another and only one so far with a Panerai - 092, decided to wear it with the rubber deployment and while having a few drinks someone at our table passed a comment on a colleague's new Armani watch who in turn decided to point at mine and go "atleast I dont wear cheapo casio rubber strap watches". The guy who ribbed him then rather loudly said "Thats a Panerai mate, it probably cost more then your car" hahhaa

I'm pretty much in a similiar boat though - my PAM "wishlist" from the current models is pretty much complete or en-route to me and Ive started looking at other brands such as Breitling and Cartier

BOB does Breitling straps as well, im sure the quality is pretty good if his PAM straps are anything to go by

Just try and calm down which I appreciate is hard but the people here aren't out to try and dump on you, check out one of the trusted dealers and you should be happier with the product you receive.

I had the opportunity to wear a gen 116520 for the weekend while the friend whose gen it was wore my rep, I have to say we have it very good with this rep - its extremly close. Although, the pic would be better with no shirt at all

It's very risky and just asking for trouble, ask him if you can come pick it up in person (even if you don't intend too) and also you'd like to have it authenticated at an AD of his choosing - also ask for clear photos of the documents since he is a new seller. It is pretty much the only way I would do it - forget about pp / escorw and so forth tis just too risky until then for such a big amount on such a new ebayer.

I'd say its good for a bracelet watch as most PAM's with SS bracelet are just massive, but on leather it might be a bit tiny. As long as your gf is happy to take it, you should be okay Mine has said she doesn't like anything in my PAM collection which makes me a happy man

It seems Homer only has a few of these so I doubt he'd be willing to arrange a group buy discount although I'm picking mine up sometime this week hopefully so will let you guys know how it is and if there is interest ask about a group buy. If his other boxes are anything to go by, it will be great. Now just need to order 2 more PAM's so its not empty
