I don't like the way the date is top justified. I don't think it's gen.

I'm not so sure BK will "fix you up". The last piece I got from him had a Swiss ETA 2836-2 with a Chinese GMT complication that slips. (Second time this has happened from him). I was pretty much told that I was on my own. The first time this happened, he replaced the movement with an ETA 2893-2, at my expense. Took months!

These are excellent reps right out of the box. Honestly, it's VERY hard to notice any discernable difference. This is the nicest and most accurate rep oob I've ever had. Not sure why you would pay a premium to BK for this. To each his own. Great rep, though. I really had a hard time telling which is which.

I neglected to mention that I already have a franken 1655, so I'm reluctant to buy one just for the case. I didn't have a vintageized ( is that a word?) piece in mind, just the GMT Master with an acrylic crystal and good lume. Love the distortion effect around the edge of this iconic timepiece! Thanks gentlemen.

I'm yearning for a 1675ish GMT Master. What oob GMT should I get that I could actually wear for a while before committing funds for a franken job. which dealer, which model? i need the valuable insight for a few GMT Master gurus.

Nice watch and great pics. I've been looking at these lately as well. One thing though, the bezel numbers look painted. I don't see any 3 dimensional relief as you would when the numbers are actually engraved in the ceramic. Am I wrong?

Will the BP SD take gen parts? A gen crystal for insatance. Is the case built to gen specs, unllike the Jackjo SSD? Disregard. Didn't notice the earlier posts.
