  1. The Zigmeister, Get plenty of practice on it...I may send you mine soon! I bet your timing machine will smoke with that 36k bph.
  2. OK Doc here is mine...from the Watchmaster.....only the crystal and band have been changed..
  3. Chris, You're right and I agree with you on helping members with all we can , but when it affects the $$$ we pay for our parts its better to leave the competition to the ones who put effort in and pay their dues to compete... We are talking apples and oranges here..giving advise on a perfect sub does not cost us money..Telling the world how to identify a 240 Angelus from a picture is earned and paid for knowledge..if we reveal this we lose money as we have created more demand than supply. Those who know how to tell have spent many dollars with wrong clocks to find out..no one told us..and as much as you like me ...you never told me.. @jboy..this is not rocket science..just settle down and study. BTW, Chris is NOT an elitist..but probably the most helpful member here and at the other 2 forums... I think an apology is in order.
  4. Yep..needed to leave that gear in for it to look right. I really didn't think it could wind coerrectly without it..the alarm gear that is.
  5. @tourbillon1801 Thanks we have the same taste...I did NOT clean the movements you see yet..they are like that from the case...They are later ones from 1951, and 1960..The duo clock in the photo has a VERY tarnished CDG bridge plate..so maybe you'll like this one! I am working on a 203 so I want to make sure I have all the spare parts I can in case I need them. I already broke a pivot trying to take the alarm bits out.. You are absolutlely right..the non alarm is the one to find ..and I am still looking as I think others are too. Goodbye friends, gil
  6. @ tourbillon1801..Not ALL of them...some do slip through your radar.. @jboy that clock is wrong..like CJ says...and we have to kiss lots of frogs to get these and lose some money. Sometimes these are correct but don't work or missing stems etc..so its a toss up. You need a few movements to make one rep to cover the mistakes/problems..there are no parts available for these anywhere. As far as the Trade secret stuff..its nothing against you as you will figure it out anyway if you keep looking. The issue is if every member of all 3 boards and the Paneristi "knew" what to look for..we would all bid against each other and the price would be astronomical..its getting that way now.. So we want to help you , but the public posting of info is not a great idea.. Good Luck
  7. what can I say??? Count me in for 2 at least! Lello..... as I KNOW you are the best.. GUYS, Lello is a very talented graphiic artist and a perfectionist..!! I love the IWC Inge and I know he will come up with a 100% DW solution..no doubt! He has proven his dedication and commitment to me and I stand with him.
  8. @heywood, Nice info, and fantastic photos to boot...keep this coming!!
  9. Gio, Very nice mix..got it playin now.. Please made another I have a honey-do list bigger than your track list! We have the same taste in music..love the mix of genre...Diana Krall..yes. THANKS,
  10. This is a cut and dry issue in my opinion.. We have the ethical question of members honoring their word and commitment, and we have the availability of alternate sources of datewheels in the future...nice! All good things to have and they don't have to contradict each other. Once all the past committments are honored we can move on and all have fun shopping for the best datewheels..and enjoy long winded posts on "who has the best datewheel" Healthy public forum economics and eticate. It would be a boring place if we had one strap maker.. Lighten up all..& Merry Christmas..
  11. Lello, Awesome strap and well worth the cost as its a GEN and will add that extra pizzaz, to that 063.You need to highlight those BOLD date letters! Thats one on my favorite strap to go with a GMT..when you get tired of it I'll buy it from you. Congratulations and wear it well.. I do think they could give you a nice back massage to go with it!
  12. Congrats, you were lucky I didn't pick this up for my SRSD.. last time it was listed.I'm changing to white SD and passed on it.....looking for a Flat one...This was a relist from 2 weeks back.. #39 you saved a few bucks too.. Have fun..
  13. Very good history for the new members Lello thanks.. WHEN i was a Noob not too long ago you were one of the few veterans who helped me unselfishly and although you were gone for a while continued to offer your friendship across the big lake. Welcome back, there are many more "mods" to be dealth with in our future and a Firenze resident is a good guy to have here.. BTW, Your date wheel you sent me looks fantastic!..I'm sure you will recieve good reports.
  14. WOW, awestruck..just what I needed , count me in please for a couple. Thanks for your endeavors Ubi!
  15. Absolutely beautiful!!! I've Always heard the Alaskan cruises were awesome..do you reccomend?..I'm in Fla, so a summer escape from the wicked hot temps here would be nice...we went to Nova Scotia this summer , but this is enticing! Thanks for posting these pics and shaing your lovely State..
  16. DITTO on all positive comments..purchased many from Angus and all were top notch deals!
  17. Nice skeleton..it blends well with the case , I like it. I have a WM (purchased) 6497 Skeleton looking for a home , but have not found the right shell yet.. Wear it well for the 10 minutes ..I know the 16520 is calling you....
  18. Ubi, I'll take this off your hands..I have good credit!
  19. I would certainly hope that those who have contacted you will honour their commitment! I know many are waiting for the 187 wheels & you have done an admirable service to supply our custom needs. Hoping this all works out.
  20. Lello made these for himself, but had to have a minimum order..these are just the leftovers from what he used for his own watch ...I think less than 10.. My intent was to supplement the demand and not compete..since he's been MIA so long I thought I would share these few with RWG before they were gone somewhere else..for those who didn't get on your list... I assumed you have a limited run yourself...and most if not all were pre-sold?
