i guess ill have to disagree with you on some key factors; the forum have been oozing with new pam-talk and reviews. -The Rolex forum is filled with the latest and greatest of modification-plans and project. the noobs are allways asking where to get the watches, and as far as i can remember, there have allways been an active social/non-watch-related-talk going on here. over the past few months we have seen a couple of oldtimers returning with a feeling that the forum have changed.. yes ofcourse it have changed, evolved even. things will never be status quo. by clicking the "view new posts" on the top right corner i get an overview that tells me there have just been posted a couple of reviews. some for sales posts. questions of where to get the watches, what model, and the everlasting search for parts. -the off topic posting you mention serves to get to know the people behind the watches better, it would be boring without it. get on it again buddy, there are tons of great watches out there to be had

thanks , Im not in us, but il def look up a local number tomorrow! and the watch shop i was in is an Authorized longines retailer, found them on the longines homepage too, but it really worries me that no pictures of the watch i was shown exist on the internet.

non-date: date: sadly when trying to contact longines through www.longines.com to inquire about the 300m(30bars) mystery, i get a error when hitting send...
-
thanks for the reply, but do you have any information regarding the 3lines vs the 4lines (ref. 1.st post) cheers Miagi
-
ah just gonna correct myself before anyone else does ; its probably better known as Longines Legend Diver.

Hi. Im contemplating buying the Longines Heritage Diver watch. Its from an AD locally where i live. The thing is that when i google the watch all i can find is the date/ no date version that has the 3lines reading ; "Longines -logo- automatic" as per picture : But the watch at my AD reads "Longines -logo- Automatic 30bar(300m)" I cant fin any pictures of the "30bar(300m)" on any of the google images, nor any info written of this excisting. . as its a highly renowned AD where i live, selling omegas and tags.. i dont question the authenticity of the watch, but its really strange i cant find any info on it?.. went down there today, but there was only a part time student girl working there at that time , and she didnt really know too much about them. any of you able to share any light on this matter? cheers Miagi.

what would you do? seller says he shipped the watch but hasnt.
miagi replied to mikolee's topic in General Discussion
I hope this gets resolved really soon! what rise the flag for me is that he takes the time to respond to your messages, with erroneous information, then 'comes clean' and apologise and makes a promise that he does not come trough with. as a buyer i would consider this as "him buying time" and that worries me. If i had a family crisis that held me from going to the post office, the first thing i would do is transfer back the money, and send a message explaining my situation, and that the buyer is welcome to again purchase the watch when i had time to tend to the deal. I sincerely hope that the guys family crisis ends well. But spending the precious time making up stories about shipment that never occured is not the way to treat anyone. -
awesome work vandal! enjoy reading your reviews and great pictures! the vanilla scent on mine have lasted 3years (little use though, and is now only noticeable when i stick it up under my nose ).
