  1. legal to own in my country as long as the goverment get their share of the import price
  2. Being Norwegian i feel i can vouch in aswell winter driving half the year ... SUV vs standard coupe/estate all depends on where you will be doing most of your driving ; for driving in the city on snow/ice/slush id prefer a lower car as it sits better on the road when doing quick turns to avoid accidents.. - outback or mountain where you can encounter uncleared roads - def agree with nanuq! high clearance and good wheelsize. growing up we did A LOT of winter drift circuit in my neighbourhood -scandinavian powerslides where u pull the handbrake as u turn in (quick off the hadbrake), drop it to 2nd gear and full trottle. - that thought me much about how to avoid hitting that object looking inevitable at slippery conditions... - remember foot off the throttle AND the brake, clutch in (neutral for u automatic drivers) and stear out of the slide... brake when regaining controll - and a lot of times fullthrottle to help stear out of the slide get wintertires not that all-round stuff. id choose to drive german (audi bmw merc) or a volvo. allways keep good clearance to the cars front and back and think twice before venturing up or down steep hills - oh and remember ; the most dangerous driving conditions are "black ice" where rain/water have just frozen on top of clear asphalt being quite invisible. a good snowy road actually have a lot of traction
  3. forever blowing bubbles, eh?

thanks yes the LLD wears big as the internal bezel adds to the precence on the wrist.
  6. the watches currently in my everyday rotation: Pam 005 latest noob version , iwc 3717 with genuine calibre 79320 , genuine Longines Legend Diver. (photos taken with iphone 4s and shaky hands) * iwc has started the datechange , all centered normally. thanks for watching -miagi
  7. i think its def leaning towards buyers market. reasons: -the economy being what it is, there must be lesser funds left in the "normal" household for watches. consumers must sell off rather than keep watches to fund new projects -> driving up quality in sales sections. this is a tought experiment considering reps i have been thinking of for some time: -lets divide the rep watch collector into two different groups: group A: they service their watches, thus making them live for the same lifespan as a gen watch. (simplyfied, i know) group B; they consume reps in the way that they dont intend to service (some or all) their watches, -> making them live for a shorter amount of time. lets for simplicity say a rep is 1/10th the price of gen. group A is getting a "luxury" item for the price of 1/10gen. group B is getting a good item for the price of (1/10gen) / lifespan. the propensity to hold reps in group A is greater than group B. group B is by far outnumbering group A. both groups trade in the forum markets technological progress is cutting value on older replications. Cost over quality i dare state "H and N fact latest Pams priced at 2xx$" > "the mashup of lello dsn and EL priced at 1xxx$". this favours trading of older projects when rumoured new replications surface (the expected value of our older reps in our rather small market is falling) any toughts on this?
  8. considering you would need to buy a gold neckCHAIN and a slim fit black shirt (buttons optional) and a gold pinkyring, to blend in that full gold - i'd go for the 2tone. jokes aside.. go for the stainless steel.
  9. hi, and welcome the milenary 4101 is based on an inhouse skeletonized movement. no rep will ever come remotely close to the real visual precence of that movement. its impossible to accurately rep a 370 000dollar watch where the movement is supposed to be the main visual feature.
  10. Manchester united and Rosenborg (norwegian)
  11. yes unfortunately seems very crooked / ... my OCD would not let me live with it . maybe someone skilled would be able to fix it right for you..shipping back to china is a long wait.. did it not show on QCpictures or did you not get pictures before shipment?
  12. hah. funny when someone googles his name from now on and SCAMMER comes up on the 1googlepage! oh, karma, you!
  13. contact a leather strap-maker and have one custom made for you much much muuuuch better quality and looks
  14. im thinking this is something paypal/his creditcard company would be interested in (not the "rep trade", but the scamming of money/goods) . they must have some sort of alert system when someone is repetedly calling in chargebacks? - this hurts business for them too... and what paypal adress is he using? cant we do a broader search on that email and see what else he is using it for.. Im pretty sure with the information we can gather that is out there, some actions could be taken.
  15. got me interested. and now i bought one
  16. browsing the pics i see that these straps seems to be the go-to straps for rolex when not using natos or bracelet.. anyone know if its a special maker/model? want one or two
  17. if you want something that will get a nod even from the watch aficionados get a genuine longines legend diver (pref without the date ). quite sought after in the US i hear. easier to aquire in EU. I have the date version myself. going for a rep to fool someone to think its a gen isnt a good idea.
  18. i have had orders where the trackingnumber have been stuck on guangzo(or what its called) for the entire time, only to show up at my doorstep 1week after.. went from guangzo china to "delivered" in tracking info. not uncommon i think.
  19. heres a link with info about cost of living. you can open a new tab and choose the city your currently living in and set them both to the same currency to go back and forth between them to compare differences : set to melbourne, currency USD : http://www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/city_result.jsp?country=Australia&city=Melbourne&displayCurrency=USD here is a list with the cost of living indexes of more than 800cities in the world.: http://www.expatistan.com/cost-of-living/index as an example I have compared New york vs Melbourne; http://www.expatistan.com/cost-of-living/comparison/new-york-city/melbourne? hope this helps to give you an idea to what you can expect. you can now roughly figure out how much the bump in your wifes salary needs to be to cover your loss of income/increased expences
